I had this notion that ocean monuments were something to fear, something to behold from a distance. That conquering an ocean monument required
potions and armor and well enchanted weapons. This is not the case however. I am 2/3 way done with my ocean monument and I am only using a
stone sword, some doors, a few furnaces and sponge blocks.
The most guardians I have seen in one place was 3, and that was on the outside. On the inside guardians are fairly low numbered. The only real threat
is that when battling an elder guardian, you get hit every time you hit them. A problem that is easily remedied by battling an elder guardian by a pillar
or a few doors, for cover when healing.
I was pleasently surprised to find that in the center there are blocks of gold though. I had never done research into the monuments themselves so I
never knew. The only reason I found those gold blocks was because I needed some higher ground to retrieve some sponges I had used nearby.
So in short, don't feel threatened by these structures nor its inhabitants. The monument holds the key to its own destruction. A key that can be
accessed fairly easily. Pro tip, bring doors and 3 or 4 furnaces and 2 stacks of charcoal and a stone sword or two.

The only thing I fear are Ur Ghast towers due to their length...and we don't have those.
Some floppy fish don't scare me!
