With the release of tu31 cu19 and 1.22 (minecraft console), no endermen have spawned in my docm77 style enderman farm. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it? (Worked perfectly fine before update)
Is that the one where they spawn on pressure plates? The update may have made the spawning algorithm say, "Hey, that's a full* block. Things can't spawn there!" now....
Im gonna leave my enderman farm alone and go make docm77's endermite enderman farm in the mean time but if its not fixed within a month or so I might as well get my pistons/redstone back
Enderman tripwire farm broke after update. Swapped out some of the stone block spawn pads for netherrack (also can confirm spawns atop nether) and it started to drop a few endermen. Perhaps the spawn blocks just needed to be updated or registered as spawnable area?
I have an enderman farm in my PS4 World. After the update(TU31), the farm seemed to stop producing. When i went to the top of the structure, i could hear them spawning so i went back to the bottom and its back in business. It doesnt seem to work as good as it did, but it WORKS! I could be wrong but it seems like you just have to go to the top to trigger the spawns, after that its all good. Hope this helped someone...

Made a pressure plate topped superflat and mobs still spawned so thats out of the question
