Found a couple of other threads, but their design just doesn't seem to work. Edit: Nevermind, this can be closed. Figured out a way
I do know this is closed, but you can use comparators or hopper clock to take them to one hit.
-button-3 comparators facing into a block,a piece of redstone besides the block followed by 3 comparators back and a redstone back to the button
