Are blaze spawners currently not working? Blaze are spawning every EXCEPT my blaze xp farm. There are not any other blaze spawners in the entire nether fortress, and I'm beginning to become convinced that blaze spawners are broken.
Actually there is something broken in the spawn code. So much so that upon entering the neither within a minute you have reached the hostile mob cap. Blaze spawners still need to comply with this cap, and since its already reached it can't spawn blazes.
The spawn system also seems slowed down so to speak, prior to 1.7 I could not kill the endermen in my farm fast enough, it is a massive farm, so much so that even two players could just barely keep up with killing them even thou they were 1 shot kills. Since 1.7 arrived i can easily kill them with short durations between spawns.
If I had to guess at this issue i would say its related to alot of 'kludge' code that 4j through in to keep certain things working for older worlds. My guess is that structure data is not working in our current versions, and this explains why neither fortress mobs were permitted to spawn anywhere, rather then within a fortress, and until 4J comes up with a solution to this things are going to get alot worse before they get better. I guess we will see what happens when the 1.8 update arrives.
