This is just a guess at what we can expect in the next update, but as some of you would know, 4J seems to be taking advice from players on their twitter feed for updates to the console such as classic crafting and the ability to toggle weather. Now my question is, do they usually do this? Or is it possible that we are going to start seeing console exclusives since we are almost caught up fully to the PC version. If I recall, we are only one update behind the PC, which I believe is the update that introduced ocean monuments and bunnies. Yet when 4J does an update, they always brings extra content over from other updates. So assuming they don't have access to anything from the combat update, could we possibly see 4J exclusives added on top of the next update?
We're 2 updates behind the PC version. We still need The Update That Changed the World (1.7) and The Bountiful Update (1.8) . By the time we get those we'll need The Combat Update (1.9).
The Xbox / Console edition has always been roughly a year to a year and a half behind the development of the PC. The last "content" update the consoles received was TU19, back in Dec. 2014, equivalent roughly to The Horse Update (released July 2013).
The Update That Changed the World released on Oct. 25, 2013; The Bountiful Update released on Sept. 2, 2014.
Extrapolating from this information, we can probably expect some news of the next content update to be arriving shortly. We are already "technically" behind schedule. Then anticipate another year for the consoles to match what the PC has now. As Urban has stated, by then we will need the 1.9 features.
But to answer the question, it seems 4J is just looking into implementing some new options that are already on the PC. It doesn't look to be anything "exclusive." Twitter has always been 4J's preferred medium for connecting with the users. It was a tweeted suggestion to have Blaze to drop glowstone dust. After that, I can't recall any other user-made suggestion that was added to the game.
But then exclusives don't have to be user-made, right? Regardless, I think the only honest answer anyone can give as to whether exclusives are coming is "Who knows." Though it appears 4J is listening to the community, it's entirely likely they already had those features planned (maybe even internally completed)... hence the winky-face after each tweet.
I heard a while age that they may make spawners craftable in survival even though they would be to no function.
Also Minecraft for mobile devices has started adding their own exclusive stuff.
Do you mean MC Pocket Ed.? Because that one is developed by Mojang, not 4J Studios.
I don't see a point to crafting a useless item (assuming your source is accurate). Well... maybe as decoration those cages would be kinda cool.
Regardless, I think being able to craft working spawners would be totally against the theme of Survival. I sooooo want them for Creative mode, though. Maybe this update...?

I wonder if it is possible that 4J studios may give us an exclusive much like the Nether reactor that the MCPC has? I see a lot of people wonder how they might fit the extra biomes into the current map size that the future updates would bring, yet up to this point there has been no sign of the new biomes going to be added to the Xbox 360. I mean it would definitely solve the space issue with the map sizes. Plus it would allow older maps to obtain the new items.
The only other possibilities are that
1- we don't get them at all.
2- we get them fit into the map anyway
3- we get the ability to customize our survival worlds in order to choose which biomes we want.

I'm having trouble understanding exactly what you're trying to say here (see bold text). It sounds like you're saying not adding new biomes would save space (?) on maps. But what would add new items?? Unless you think 4J should add something like the Nether Reactor to produce the blocks that would have come with the new biomes?

No, there's a fourth (or is that fifth?) possibility:
- The 1.7 biomes are added to the game with the world generation algorithm remaining unchanged.
Yes, that means that you will likely never find a world with every single biome, but adding simple crafting recipes to obtain those "rare" blocks is a reasonable request.
Off the point (but not really) 4J has notoriously been coy when teasing updates. We've only seen one photo so far, but in that photo we see different fence and door types. That alludes to new tree types, which alludes to the new biomes.

Sorry about that, I was in a rush when I began to write that, but in general yes. I wonder if 4J may not add the new biomes out of concern for the limited space available on the xbox 360 world. So instead maybe we will see them add something similar to the nether reactor in order for us to retrieve the items that any new biome would contain.
In regards to my second point, I meant that they could add the new biomes into the current system and we just wont necessarily get every biome for every world we generate. So my bad again on the communication part.
If we get said biomes, we reeeeaaaallly need a way to craft the items and get the saplings without the bonus chest. Farmers could give us all the saplings and crafting various other things wouldn't be too difficult.
I am pissed off that the console edition users do not get the combat update those people t mojang should be busting their asses to get the combat update for console users it looks so fun and we should have it to if anyone has any info about it comment on this.

Maybe you should look into the reality of the situation a little more before you decide to complain. To put it simply, for a number of reasons, it takes a while for new pc content to make it to the console edition. You should expect a 1.9 equivalent update no sooner than a year from now (if ever, no guarantees have been made that the 360 will continue to receive updates forever).
Minecraft is a computer game with console ports. New features will always come to the pc version first, and may be ported to consoles later. I'd love to see the speed with which this happens improve, it would be nice if we could get new stuff before pc gets even newer stuff, but that's not the world we live in today.
Actually, console exclusive features in console Minecraft will NEVER happen because all we get are the ones that are currently present in PC Minecraft (monsters, domestic livestock/pets, etc.) so exclusive features will NEVER be added to console editions.

This is categorically and historically incorrect. Console has features the PC does not, just not to the degree many wish it had.

Curse PremiumI doubt it. What would it be, anyway?
I'm just a Minecraft player that likes to give my opinion. Nothing special to see here.
