So I noticed, MC Xbox 360 Edition doesn't have shaders yet. Now, don't say shaders won't be there because it will lag, because the Xbox 360 is solely a HD console, and I saw games like Trials HD. It had shaders and it never really lagged. So if you guys think shaders are gonna be TOO laggy for Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition, the shaders don't have to look amazingly beautiful, especially the bad lighting "effects"...

I never said it would lag. I just said it would be a better next gen feature.
Yeah, I said that because I'm ----> . But I acted like that because everyone would think it would lag, anyway, the shaders don't have too look super realistic and beautiful, as I said in the original post.

Sorry but it's still not going to happen it's a mod and modding isn't allowed
I think people are a little bit confused about this here. Bans on modding apply to the modifications of the code on the Xbox, by users. It's perfectly fine for 4J to take features from mods and add them in. So long as the Shaders work, it's perfectly okay for them to be features.
Meh... don't really care. It'll get added IF and when 4J decides to add it... not before. If it lags, 4J would have to fix that. If they don't think they can, they won't add it. That simple. Doesn't matter a lick if I think it will lag or not... it's only 4J's opinion that counts. No point in getting angry about it.
Could they make shaders work on 360? Maybe, but you have to remember that it's a standardized machine with a finite amount of resources to be used. Any update also has to be tested by Microsoft and can't be too large, that's why GTA V updates are mostly packaged as DLC. No doubt Microsoft also have restrictions on how much of the resources can be taken up by the game to insure background processes still function.
There's also the fact that minecraft is pretty resource intensive, at least more so then some people give it credit for. See games like GTA or Skyrim might have a bunch of high res textures, but they have solid walls and a defined game world. In minecraft you're dealing with millions of slots on a cubic grid, thousands of which can potentially be filled number of different blocks in a number of configurations, and each block face has a 16x16 pixel texture on each side of it that isn't covered. That alone adds up to a lot of data being processed at any given time, and that's before taking AI into account which also draws from the same resources.
All that said if they really are adding shaders in 1.9 maybe we'll get them on the One and PS4, those consoles have much more processing power. Too bad it'll probably take 3 years, I mean we don't even have 1.8 yet.
I seriously don't know why the Xbox One and PS4 should have shaders, anyway, I think the Xbox 360 is the best Xbox out there, and I'm not spending around 500 dollars for a phoney of the Xbox 360 version that has bigger worlds better multiplayer and Official Mods! But just because the Xbox One and PS4 has better processing power doesn't mean its better, before I even had the PC version of Minecraft, I played the Xbox 360 version all the time, because it was the only legit Minecraft we ever had! And we all know that Xbox 360 has less processing power, but I got used to the fact that the Xbox 360 isn't perfect, and that's OK. Just because the Xbox One and PS4 has better processors, more memory, and more stuff, that doesn't mean the Xbox 360 isn't popular anymore, some people still play the Xbox 360, I'm pretty sure. And I think the DLC on the Xbox 360 version is good enough, no mods should be there. Its good as is. You can play something like a modded survival or something on the Xbox One or PS4, but that doesn't mean that vanilla is boring.

Because anything the 360 gets the other consoles will get too.

???
But just because the Xbox One and PS4 has better processing power doesn't mean its better,
You're right. It's also the higher RAM, increased terraflops/second, and multi-threading capabilities that make them better.

Curse PremiumTo put it bluntly, no. Shaders Mod will never be made on the MCX360 because its that, a MOD
But what about Xbox 360 Edition Vanilla...?
It could be in the Vanilla versions...
Like 1.9! Shaders are gonna be added to 1.9 from what I heard!

Someone get me out of this god-forbidden place. I hate it.Shaders are vanilla features, and they seem to work pretty smoothly on low setting PCs. Though I feel like this would be a better next gen feature

So why do you want shaders then?
Actually, I'm not sure, but it would make sense. (???)
