So one time when I loaded up minecraft I found a weird world. I know I didn't make it and I made sure no one played my copy of minecraft. When I opened up the world called "Turn no life" I spawned in a huge taiga. The mobs I did see were like wire frame models and dropped nothing and I was unable to break blocks. I had decided to leave it alone and delete it so nothing got corrupted. Nothing else has happened since then I was just wondering if anyone had similar issues or what the world was.
I just finished responding yesterday to a similar report in the "Help & Support Section" that was actually a duplicate of a post placed in the Discussion section. Over the last month, I've probably responded to 3 or 4 similar stories; and over the years, several more. It does not happen to everyone since I've played numerous maps since 2012 and have never lost one to this sort of thing and there are several other regulars who have recently stated also that they have not had this happen to them. Also, as far as I know, 4J has never responded or even acknowledged that this problem has been occurring... probably because they have yet to duplicate the issue in their own systems. So, the good news is that it still seems to be a relatively rare occurrence considering the numbers of people playing the game.
I do have a theory that I posted in the Help & Support Section yesterday, so you can do a bit a hunting and read it if you want. As of yet, I've never seen any person post a means to recovering the lost information or a way to avoid it...other than the wisdom of backing up your files ahead of time... and I'm not sure even if the backups are similarly affected. If my theory is correct, they would be; if it's something else, they wouldn't.

Never... I have heard tales of warped work spawns, though. Anyways, I'm looking for someone to play with. Would you be interested?
No. I've been really working on a single-player world and if I work on anything else I get really distracted XD.
Also thanks for the info on warped spawns I'll look into that.
