If I mine coal, redstone, diamonds, or lapis witha pick enchanted with fortune, will fortune increase the number of experience orbs dropped by the ore?
I know it will increase the items' normal drops, but I am wondering if it extends to the little jingle sparks I so love to pick up.
I love mining ores with a silk touch pick axe, then when I get a couple of stacks worth, making a tall stack of them into the sky and mining down the whole lot on one go. I also have a beacon at my base give the faster mining buff and it blasts through them.

I silk it all too. I started doing it because you couldn't make blocks of coal or lapis or redstone, and the ore stored much better than the popped stuff. Now we can block them, but I still have 2 chests of redstone ore and 4 coal. I pop them when I need to get the last couple levels before I enchant at 30. Love the idea about the beacon for mining at the base - Thanks.
I also don't need to worry about eating near my base either because I have the regen health buff activated too so I only need to eat when I leave home!
