This is roughly mid-game on my main world. I have created a house based on the video, within lies a bedroom, an attic storage room, and a Enchantment room. I wanted to create a Brewing stand to make potions, but from what I've seen in the tutorial world, the potion-making process is quite difficult. I know you have to place water in one of the 3 slots and ingredients in the others, but it seems I just can't get the hang of it. Can you guys and gals offer any advice?
So basically, in order to make potions I have no choice but to go into the Nether?
Also consider that you had to go into the nether to get a blaze rod to make the brewing stand in the first place...
Then, Awkward potion is the basic starting point and it requires nether wart. Fortunately, once you get a little netherwart and some soul sand, you can grow it in the overworld; so you don't need to go back there if you don't want the potions that require other nether ingredients.
