This is the third time I am posting this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have not been able to take a screen shot since tu19. It askes me to allow and when I do it tells me try again later. Am I the only one having this issue??
No, you're not. Keep trying. You'll get the error quite a bit, but eventually it should go through. It's a very well known bug that has yet to be fixed.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
To take the test, check out https://minecraftnoobtest.com/test.php
Stronghold hallways don't contain any of the chests they're supposed to. Chests in libraries and double story central rooms generate as normal, however. Chests in other structures generate normally as well.
I recently made a visit to a friends world and found a blaze spawner in the nether. After building a safe room around it and waiting about 20 minutes no blazes had spawned. Has anyone else had this problem? Are they disabled now because they just spawn everywhere? Why even have them if they are not functioning? Thank you to anyone who can provide an answer.

Most likely because the mob cap has been reached.

Well could someone look into MCCE-56 which reported this potential bug regarding the Blaze Spawning. Based on reading a variety of console related threads on these forums others are having Blaze Spawning issues, I can confirm I have this issue.
MCCE-56 and MCCE-72 (which was cancelled due to duplications of MCCE-56) reported this potential bug. MCCE-56 is presently listed as "unassigned", so until it is assigned and investigated, all we can do is hypothesize what is happening.

The reason the behaviour seems so vastly different between updates was due to a bug in the older update.
Blazes had no limit to how many would spawn from a spawner - Even when the cap was reached for naturally spawning blazes they would continue to appear from the spawner.
Eventually this would cause exceptionally low fps and crash the game.
Since we made the Blaze spawners follow the same limit it has caused blaze farms to behave incorrectly.
We will be looking at changing how this functionality works in the future in order to better accommodate Spawners. (I personally don't like farms as they take away from the game a bit).

Is this just your personal opinion or is this 4J's official position? For a lot of people farms are a major part of game play and they have a long tradition back to the early pc version days.

Just wondering as I don't see what personal opinion has to do with fixing bugs. I was under the impression that this game was meant to be played in whatever way the player saw fit.

It has nothing to do with fixing bugs just my 2 cents on the matter.

We have mob cap limits in place that work with both natural and mob spawners - because of this it renders Blaze farms nearly useless.
We will be looking to change functionality to better accommodate such farms/spawners.

I also [personally] do not farm xp. I do smelt quite a bit of cobble & netherrack for xp, and kill stuff when I need to to get xp. And I also do not hate on farmers. So it's uncool to harsh on your comment on that basis.
I like the fact that you gave your opinion, and I don't think it impacted any perception of how you fix bugs, etc. I think it just humanized you a bit [no offense intended]. Keep doin that voodoo that you do. It's much appreciated.

I also dislike farms, they're abusive in my opinion. You end up with excessive amounts of supplies. Run out of gold? You should have to go mining for it, not run to the nether to waltz into your pigman farm.

Its not as simple as that. I'm of the other foot, in that I love farms, and farms are not always easy to setup, they can take weeks, if not months of preparation and work depending on the efficiency one is after. Take into consideration that one then has to weed out all the issues that arise both during construction, while its running, and after each update and one can see the farms are not just a few blocks you wack together and get tons of resources out of.
When I need resources, i often don't need just a stack of two of something, often a double chest or more is needed, and I couldn't be bothered hunting and searching for all that i need, so I turn to my farms to supply my needs. This is the beauty of minecraft in that it allows everyone of us to play the game 'our' way. There's no need to hate farmers, we just like to play the game slightly differently.

Hey, farmers gonna farm. I think the updates would make certain farms very challenging, since the redstone ticks, fits & starts keep changing the way they work. So many people.... so irritated.
The beauty of minecraft is truly the openness/adaptability of its play. I like being creative in survival. You earn what you build. And when you build a huge fire-breathing dragon out of obsidian, the true minecrafter can appreciate the hours that went into obtaining that obsidian.
But for all those people who have neither the time nor the will to gather serious resources, we have creative mode. I've seen some really cool stuff built by those folks, and I'm glad they did it.
I guess I see farming as a way to bridge the creative and survival modes, without 'cheating.' It's maximizing efficiency and output within the scope of the rules. The only players I would come close to hating would be dupe-glitchers who pass themselves off as "survivalists." Poseurs.

Which is completely understandable That was just my opinion.
When I set spiders on fire with my enchanted bow the fire does not light up. It remains dark. The fires for all other mobs light up in the dark, but not the fire for the spider.

I thought mobs spawning above 128 (the roof) in the nether was a bug fixed a few TU's ago, since you're not naturally going to be up there?
Is this just your personal opinion or is this 4J's official position? For a lot of people farms are a major part of game play and they have a long tradition back to the early pc version days.
