Rabbits do spawn just not in the biomes they do in pc 1.8 There the 1.9/Pocket Edition rabbits. And the chests not respawning is intentional not a bug. idk anout xray, but if it doesnt work now then they FIXED IT. Xray is a glitch not in the game.
Dark Oak saplings do not grow at all on Creative mode, I've been spamming bone meal for 2 minutes straight and nothing happened. Acacia Tree saplings still grow just fine, however.

Are you planting them 2x2? I believe thats the only way they grow
after the last update on my 360 the game keeps locking up after like 5 min., I was just walking around the tutorial map using the Natural theme pack, now the game is unplayable
For those getting freeze ups.... check to make sure your console is not just overheating. I've had two recent freeze ups, but putting an extra fan on the console seems to have alleviated the issue for me (for now anyways).

Actually, nope. I'm only putting one Dark Oak sapling on the ground and it didn't grew at all, and I thought it only required one sapling for the tree to grow, just like all the other types of sapling in-game.

The giant Jungle trees require a 2x2 planting as well. But unlike jungle trees, the Dark Oak tree don't have a single-block growth; they must be 2x2.
has anyone seen them spawn in deserts? i've been running around in desert biomes for days in various pre-TU31 worlds and not a single rabbit in sight.
also, a friend bred white rabbits (from snow biome) and got brown babies. i was there, i saw it happen. i thought you could only get the same skin as the parents?
I've not seen any in a desert yet. In the Console Edition, they've inserted a 5% chance of the babies being the color that goes with the biome they are being bred in rather than the color of the parents; unlike the PC where the baby has a 50/50 chance of being the color of either parent and no chance of being any different color.
4JSteve did post a little while ago that he thought they had it worked out that the biomes in the old worlds wouldn't shift (i.e. suffer climate change)... but I've seen other claims around the net that climate is happening with this update. I haven't really done any work in my old worlds since the update, so I can't verify it at this point in time. If the world is old enough, the shift may have happened with a previous update and, from what 4JSteve indicated, this update won't undo any previous shifts from earlier updates.
If this is a new world, then there are now both "cold taiga" and "just taiga" biomes. Snow falls in the cold taiga biomes, but not in the just taiga ones.
it's in an old world where it used to snow in the taiga biome before the update. oddly enough, though, i don't get the rain sound in the old snow biomes now, only in those areas where it already rained before the update.
You should maybe go over to the Mojang Bug Tracker then and find one of the other reports about biome shift there... and add the mention of the sound issue as well.
I've noticed that only minecraft music from C418's Volume A plays during survival mode, but Volume B music plays only during creative mode. is this intentional, or is it just me? I'd like to listen to volume B, but songs from volume A keep loading instead.

I have noticed that only some tunes are played during creating while others are only during survival. This was before the update so probably something thats supposed to be done. I do wish either all of them played or we could select as the same tune 3x in a row does get annoying
When I go into the nether on my survival world (TU31 - Mesa, Village, Sea Temple, all 6 trees) and come back, last night my normal world was empty of everything I'd made. Thankfully I'd not saved it in the nether so I just quit.
It happened every time I used the same portal. Interestingly when I created a new portal about 50 or so blocks away I was able to get get back into the normal world and everything was there (teleported back to the original portal)
I've not reset the nether or anything.
makes me very reticent to go to the nether unless I'm doing multiplayer and some one is left behind!
David, can you make a bug report about this on the Mojang bug tracker (link is at the start of this thread). I do think there is some sort of data loss going on when players are entering and leaving the nether... although it's not consistent. I had an incident before the update where my furnaces quit halfway through a "job" after I entered the nether. This is not unusual - i.e. they do shut down when changing dimensions. What was disturbing though is that they all clearly lost the remaining fuel. I had loaded each with a stack of cobblestone and 8 coal or charcoal each, so all of the stone should have eventually cooked (i.e. the stoves should have just restarted when I came back from the nether). What happened is that I was left with about a 1/2 stack of cobblestone in each furnace uncooked (varying because of the time it takes to load them) and no fuel at all. Obviously, your issue is more significant... but it might have the same sort of source (memory leak?). I thought perhaps it had something to do with my having reset my nether... but maybe not.
Cows have much less obnoxious sounds now, which are inherently quieter, or do you mean like, they're super-quiet regardless?
Stay fluffy~
Ps3 redstone is very laggy and fore works are broken and flail around. They also sometimes dont go of or disappear.

Hey Joe... just generated a map with a Bryce Mesa that tops out above Y106 (at Y112).
Book and quills don't remember what was entered after being closed, so it's either type the whole thing at once and sign it or lose it all.

I have trouble starting an old saved game because it crashes my xbox 360 before i even get to start playing! how can I solve this problem?
Minecarts seem to desynchronise

I've seen desert rabbits in my TU-6 world, so I can confirm that they exist.
