Has anyone else had a problem with switch from creative to survival from the in-game host options?
Yes, when going to Creative, players open their Survival inventory instead of the Creative one; and when switching to Survival, health, armour and hunger don't display. They still function, though. The Survival-to-Creative mining is also very awkward.
It can be fixed by dying or going into a different dimension.
My horse also seems to have an obsession with aimlessly wandering straight into water.
How do bug fixes tend to break more than they fix every time...?
Alright, while I was in survival and I have all host options on, I tried to go into creative with the same map loaded and I still had the survival interface and crafting menu. There was no creative interface.
Also while I was in 2 player split screen, I've noticed there is a huge lag spike every once in awhile. I even tried opening a brand new world to see if the lag was created by all the animals I had. But I still got lag spikes.

creative issue while they were online but I have the same issue I'm offline
So items when knocked out of frames seem to freak out and fly way too far now. In both cases for me there was a ceiling above the frame. Both times the items hit the ceiling and clipped away, one landing a good 20 blocks away in a different room and the other disappearing completely.
I've experienced the lag as well. The lag usually always happens while playing two player, but not as much when playing single player. At first I thought it was because of the sheep I had bred, but I offed them all and it still lags.
Glad to know its not my Xbox. That would have been a real problem. Do any of you guys know when a bug fix will be in order?
Its almost game breaking. It lags for thirty or so seconds, and its almost as if it freezes. It happens real bad when opening up chests or if there are monsters attacking me. And its really almost no use to even play the game at all.
The lag happens every few seconds. So like I said pointless to even play this game.
I can say you are all not alone with the lag. My game turned into a slide show during play today. A creeper took advantage and killed me. It seemed to only be worsened by the items floating on the ground that had been in my inventory. Also, I was just starting to add dispensers for a mob farm of two spawners, no Redstone in yet.
All I can say is to report it to Mojang's Bug Tracker in the link below. I have a feeling with this many reporting it though, they're probably aware.

I was underground and didn't notice too much. When I got back to base, started lagging bad. I had about a dozen cows and 10 chickens in pens. As soon as killed off most of them (leaving about 4 of each) the lag decreased to an almost normal level.
I don't know if mobs are the problem or just a part of it but wanted to add this in case it helps.
If you are seeing the issue could you provide me with the following information
World Seed:
Coordinates it started happening (Roughly):
Offline/Online?:
Single/Multiplayer?:
Difficulty?:
World Options you had enabled:
How long before it started happening from world creation/load:
I've been getting this in a map I started prior to this latest update (no frame rate drop before the update).
Xbox Gold account that is online but I'm playing single player on hard. All world options are the default settings.
Drop occurs at seemingly random times maybe 15 to 30 minutes after loading the world. Sometimes seems to coincide with transitions from day to night, night to day. There isn't anything going on that would normally cause frame rate drops like an excessive number of mobs, lots of redstone, lots of running water etc. It also isn't the normal momentary drop that sometimes occurs when chunks are loading, it occurs in already loaded chunks.
All right, me mates and I have encountered it throughout our plays together and apart, so here are my details:
World Seed: Multiple different worlds, one TU7/TU8 and another from this version. Both standard worlds.
Coordinates: Varied per player.
Offline/Online?: Offline for old, online for new.
Single/Multiplayer?: Single for old, multi for new.
Difficulty: Both were easy, I believe.
World Options enabled: Mob griefing was disabled for old, none outside default for new.
How long before it started happening from world creation/load: Roughly 10 in the old and 40ish in the new for me. One occurred on horseback and the other was while sprinting.

Retired StaffThat all depends. What problem(s) have you had specifically? Can't really help unless we know what the issue is.

I did. But this bug only happened when I was playing online. Tried to test the bug offline too; nothing happens.

Item frames have been so problematic. I don't understand why/how their coding keeps showing the same bugs.
It was like that just a few updates ago and even before then they had issues with dropping through walls or above structures.
I think that the lag spikes that continue to occur are bugs and I believe it is due to the code changes for water.
I created a super flat and had no issues with lag. Then I started adding pockets of water which effecting nothing.
Then I added moving water and nothing changed but as soon as I loaded up survival the lag spike hit again.
I searched my surroundings, found about 8 horses, 3 cows, a chicken and I could hear a zombie underground so
there was not a sufficient amount of mobs to cause the lag.
I investigated the terrain and found that 2 small, long rivers where nearby and a cavern with 5 or 6 water pockets
had filled a majority of the floor. There were only 2 or 3 hostile mobs that I noted. I have been trying to
recreate the lag but with no success.

Curse PremiumAlso the creative inventories create lag as well, I mean a huge fps drop, not lag

Unfortunately we just got a bug fix which is where this whole lag thing originated so probably another month or 2. Depends on how
high up the scale FPS rate and lag is. 4J acted quickly when there was a game breaking bug so maybe this may see that kind
of attention.

I play single player survival and still get a huge lag every time I play since the update
Welcome to the forums first off
secondly, you are not alone. We should get jackets for this one lol. Welcome to Lagger's Club.

Bug Tracker:
https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCCE
Officially identified the bug in an environment that can reproduce the effect. The main cause is hostile mobs, especially
zombies. Also another huge contributor is the transition between dusk and dawn. Water does effect FPS but only minimally.
I also found a different bug. When you have a wall with a row pertruding from the wall and spwan a horse on the back wall
the horse will remain in the pertruding blocks, usually without incurring damage until you hit them or push them. No other
mob has the same issue except donkies and mules, both will hang in the blocks but will suffer damage.

4J StudiosWe are currently looking into the FPS issue.
If you are seeing the issue could you provide me with the following information

Ok, I have spent the last 2 hours trying to get this to occur again but to no avail. I did manage 2 successful attepts back
to back.
The world seed is a regular super flat: -4155650772906379688
The location I used was: x145, y10, z-81
It was Online-Creative mode-hard difficulty-Single player
Host options were enabled and mob spawning, mob drops, mob griefing and tile drops were all turned off.
I had used set day/set night a few times but it did not seem to have any effect.
The 2 successful attempts ranged in time. The first was moderate FPS drop almost upon loading the world while
several zombies and 6 or 7 horses were in the generated zone along with 10 seperate water streams and 3 small
lava pits as well as the ravine encasing the area. The second success had occurred about 20ish minutes in
and only the zombies, water and lava were present. I also had a night vision potion effect and speed potion effect.
The lag on this occurance was severe enough to cause movement to be reversed and mobs that would stay active
several seconds after they should have died.
Unfortunately I have not found a precise way to cause it yet but I do know where it begins. When walking near water
between trees, sharp turns and rapid movement will cause barely noticeable lag. Rain also seems to impact FPS
but that seemed more of a go figure than a definitive bug source. Hopefully this helps. I will continue searching after
some sleep lol
