New issue. I cannot get animals (sheep, cows, pigs and chickens) to follow me through double doors when they are open. I have to remove the doors in order for them to pass through.
By "follow", I mean that I am luring them using the appropriate food item to get them to follow me. I've also noticed that it seems harder to catch an animal's attention, especially if I switch off the food item and then back on to it. Used to be an instant re-interest in the item, but now I have to wait a period of time before it will latch on again. By design? Or bug?
Finally! I've been experiencing both of these issues since TU14, I believe. I've even mentioned them before on a previous bug thread but didn't get any kind of acknowledgement. The fact that no one else seemed to be having these problems was driving me crazy. What's weird, though, is that you're saying that you're only just now having this happen you, but it's been happening to me since well before the TU19+ updates.
I have the "lose interest" problem with luring animals. They just stand there looking at the wheat like "yeah, you've got some wheat. What of it?" Been having that problem for a while

There have been various issues relating to animals and "following" problems since early updates. Can't say when they started but they've come and gone depending on the release. In early releases chickens would just spin at the top of stairs or at gates so that made it very difficult to get them anywhere especially a pen.
I had not noticed issues in TU19 or TU20 but I have been working in a world that I created in TU19, and since I penned my animals early on, unless they were somehow freed (darn creepers) or killed (stupid wolves) I didn't have a need to lead other animals around. Unfortunately in TU23 something is causing my sheep to disappear and that was when I started having problems with getting their interest and getting them through doors. They will follow me, but if I am forced to switch items it is a pain to get them to follow me again. The door thing is a real pain since I have to destroy my doors or lead them through unplanned holes in my walls to get them where I want them. Of course then I have to patch up all the openings I made to allow them in.

I posted this in the last bug list but did not see it get added to the list. Horses can walk onto single fence posts and if there is a solid block 2 spaces above it will suffocate the horse. I lost one of my best horses because of this and have saved another 3 times by catching it in time. Had to revamp my stable to prevent this but now it looks horrible. Please take a look into this.
I think that has to do with the horses being 2+ blocks tall and not an actual bug.
MOBs should never, under any condition, directly walk into another block and suffocate on their own regardless of their size or type. Thus, it is a bug, and should be reported. MathewRein is correct in providing details as to when and how he had observed this odd behavior.

I cannot say I've had the same exact problem as you because you do not fully explain yourself.
I have noticed a recent change (possibly a bug) with breedable-mobs' tracking behavior. Whenever I hold a piece of wheat in front of a cow it will follow me as normal. The new(er) problem is when I put the wheat away then take it back out very quickly. I'm assuming it's cooldown mechanism, but I'm hoping it's a bug, that makes an animal not want to follow the player for a period of time.
to let people who have seen my post I have switched to Xbox one for minecraft and it still shows that the map is there and the last thing I built on it on the map preview image but it's still having the same issue as it did on Xbox 360.
i did notice that the xbox one showed me that there is something built on it through what looks like a progression bar on the bottom of the map selection screen

Don't Walk in front of me, I may not follow. Dont walk behind me i may not lead instead ill be falling asleep in a blanket cave were its nice and warm
Ive seen 2x2 jungle trees grow on another players world. Their seed was started 3 years ago, but idk if that even relates to the bug im having on my personal world where the 2x2 jungle trees wont grow from saplings.
The jungle trees on their world had less headroom than the ones on my world but theirs still managed to grow.
Sometimes when i use a minecart, it forceably moves the way im facing wrongly. Sometimes it does it correctly where ill be forced to look straight ahead.
Im not sure if this is even a bug but some of the iron golems I spawned in by a village run around like theres hostile mobs that they have to take care of when there isnt any above or underground for 100s of blocks.
Having a lot of random crashes the past week where Minecraft freezes the Xbox 360 completely. Played for about 6 hours on the weekend and experienced 4 lock-ups during that time. Cleared up extra space to be sure there was plenty. Deleted cache files, etc.and whatever else the Xbox will let you clean up. Still having the crashes.
Sure hoping the next release addresses this. I really can't say what was causing this because each time what I was doing was different. Happened in both single player and multi-player. Is there still an issue with maps in item frames causing lock-ups? I thought that was resolved, but maybe not?
So we are having a new issue with this TU24 update. I'll add a picture but Nametags are showing through walls and like way off in the distance. Its causing noticeable lag.

spruce trees has also bugs, its hard to grow them with bonemeal or even planting them in the grass it doesnt grow even placing torches next to them, kindly please fix this.:(
So I've found an issue where if you have a chest on top of another and you stand on top of the highest chest you start doing this strange bouncing. It appears to only happen if you're looking at the chest - looking down. This won't happen with an enderchest on top of a regular chest, or regular on top of an enderchest. If a chest is sitting on normal blocks - wood, dirt, etc - the glitch will not happen.
Here's a video showing the glitch in progress. Also note the hitbox on the sign on the second chest how it flashes. I think the issue MAY be with hitboxes.
i tried 4JSteve's link, but couldn't figure out the affected version(s) field. Everything I put in came back not found. So I'll stick to reporting here. Thanks anyway.

spruce trees always best on medieval houses
Can I post about bugs for the achievements in this thread too? I have a few questions.

Are leadboards resetting a glitch? I've never boosted any of it and was in the top 120 and got randomly reset?

So when digging straight up, blocks can shoot all the way to the surface, usually about 5% of the time.
Stay fluffy~
