When I look for a available photo of a project someone already did. But sometimes there are none that im trying to make. So heres my question. HOW DO YOU MAKE PIXEL ART FROM SCRATCH?! Dont tell me just find a photo and start building. How do I copy something thats not pixels? Is there a trick? What do I do? How does anyone make minecraft pixel art from a normal photo?
Hmm, I figured there's be a lazier way out of it. When I made my 3D pixel arts, I used a reference image that shows the front, back, and at least one side (I never made anything that wasn't mirrorable). From there I gauged just how big a particular section would be compared to other sections (such as leg length versus torso length versus head size). Choose some colours and go at it.
Im trying to do it for xbox....I got a youtube series that involves puxel art I gotta know how to do it so the series wont get messed up. We build things based on specific topics. Favorite movie companies, favorite movie characters, and etc.
...Or use whatever that is above me.
