I have been trying to use search terms on the forum to find some other types of maps to play that are fun and have a set of challenges. I enjoyed Skyblock because you had to complete a list of challenges and about a year ago I started the Isles of Eden and your goal was to collect all 16 wool on the map. I love CTM maps but I can't find a lot of capture the wool type of maps on the Xbox. I also enjoyed SkyGrid but unfortunately that map crashes on the Xbox One and it never crashed for me once on the Xbox 360. I've never played survival island. Is there a survival island that has a list of challenges to complete? If so please link me to a video of it.
1. SkyBlock
2. SkyGrid
3. Isles of Eden
4. Survival Island
Can you guys help me find some more survival type or Capture the 16 wool (CTM) type of maps? We can also have a list for adventure maps that have challenges, parkour and dropper maps as well. If there is already a thread about this for Xbox MC please link me it. Thanks.
Treeless Survival Island: Which is survival island with absolutely no trees on the map - ever. A seed that worked for this in TU16 is 1477180931 but I don't know if it still generates with absolutely no trees in TU22.
Generate the seed WITHOUT a bonus chest (which means that saplings will not ever appear on the map. The goal is to get through the End before the map runs completely out of wood. (Wood is obtained only in abandoned mineshafts); so the first real challenge presents itself naturally... Find a mineshaft without any mining tools. Cherry Sparkles, who provided the seed above has some coordinates listed on her thread (which helps a lot if you're having trouble getting started). If you play on hard, starving to death right off the bat is a real possibility.
A slightly easier version is to take any survival island map and intentionally chop down trees AND immediately discard all saplings... again the goal being to make it such that you will eventually completely run out of wood on the map and the goal being to get through the End before that happens.

Superflat Survival is another. Goal is to collect as many different block types as are possible to be introduced on a superflat map... i.e. make every possible trade you can with villagers. Depending on how much obsidian is available on the map (or if obsidian generators still work in TU22), getting into the Nether might be impossible.
====
One-Chest Challenge (an old, old challenge I set up that never really caught on.) You can look it up.
====
404-Like Challenge (using the rules of the 404 challenge on any seed)... basically survive while staying completely underground after collecting supplies for only a single day. No torches allowed.

Bloody Phoenix has often mentioned one where you can't ever make a crafting table.
Sorry, can't list any pre-made maps for download since I believe downloading maps where the "ownership" flag of the map has been tampered with goes against Live's TOS. You can look through the Multiplayer section to find games you might want to join by getting added to various friends lists. This is probably why you're having trouble with the Skygrid map you describe and also why most challenges you find here on the forums are more loosely structured and don't use specific maps. Another reason why specific maps are avoided is because they change from update to update (e.g. the old map 404 no longer generates the same way it did when the challenge was first introduced).
Any single-biome map presents different challenges in survival since it means going without something or some certain mob that normally generates in the "missing biomes" on the map. E.g. Survival island maps (aka all ocean biome maps) most commonly won't spawn any animals; neither will desert only maps. Water mechanics get all messed up on tundra or taiga only maps.
