Silk Touch drops the block with it's current sub-ID number. A lit lamp has a different sub-ID from an unlit one. To answer Syeonyx's question, this is not a bug... it's just the way Silk Touch works.
It used to be that placing the lit lamp down would keep it lit until the block was updated,but I believe that has been changed; the lamp will be lit at first but immediately go out if no RS signal is present.
