When I create a world I do so in creative first, do a flyover, and regenerate the seed in survival if I like it. I like to check the chests for what I might gain. Recently I did the same thing, and when I loaded it in survival mode, the loot came out different than when I investigated. Dont get me wrong, I'm grateful for what I get. I've just never noticed that before, usually was the same loot in other worlds...
Was loot generation changed with the last update, or has it always been like this?
Beats me... the only reason I ever pre-open a seed for it to do a quick biome check/count and see if the terrain features is what I'm looking for before I open up survival if it is planned for long term building projects in survival... I don't really delve much below the surface after that first fly by check or investigate chest contents and such.
