Hello everyone, wondering if anyone can tell me what enchantments you can get from villager trading I cant seem to find a list online (at least not for the xbox). If someone could help me out id really appreciate it.
As per the wiki, it seems that anything at any level can be obtained. Granted, some trades will be pretty darn rare, I have seen Efficiency V on book and a Efficiency III, Silk pick offered before.
I just did a little bit of research myself and you can get up to level 19 enchantments on any tool or book. I do not believe that you can get efficiency V from trading on even a book just up to efficiency IV.
The official wiki on Trading would disagree with your claim of a level limit of 19, as would your own testing (producing a Feather Fall Iv and a Projectile Protection IV and a Silk Touch I and an Infinity I) and fully supports what Phoenix has stated....
The enchantment is chosen randomly, with equal chance of any enchantment type occurring and equal chance to get any level of it, so higher-leveled enchantments are as likely to get as low-leveled enchantments. The price in emeralds depends on enchantment level only. The possible values are 5 – 19 emeralds for Lvl I, 8 – 32 for Lvl II, 11 – 45 for Lvl III, 14 – 58 for Lvl IV, and 17 – 71 for Lvl V. Note that the cost is capped to 64, meaning that Lvl V books truly range from 17 - 64 emeralds, but costs at the upper end of the range are more common.
