Me and my friend are playing Minecraft together on online multiplayer. He is currently at his dads place and using their XBOX, he is the host. My question is, when he goes back to his mums place and uses his mums XBOX, is there anyway we can transfer the world we are using at his dads place to his mums? or will we have to start a new world?
P.S I haven't played MC on XBOX for about over a year now, when I first played the world wasn't "endless" like it was on PC, have they expanded the world size at all since release?
Second question first: no, it hasn't increased. After all this time, since it hasn't by now, it probably never will.
First question: Depends. You can take the save game file, put it on a usb, and transfer it to the other 360. However, worlds are tied to gamertags, so your friend must sign in on the same gamertag that he made it with at his dad's place. That can never change. If he's gonna host the world, and the gamertag is different than his own, he might consider starting a new world in his own name a get it over with.
If you are playing online multiplayer and your friend is hosting... that means he already has a XBLA Gold Account. So it is actually (slightly) easier to save the game to the Cloud so that it can be accessed by his Gold Account at either location directly. Then you don't have to worry about mucking about with a USB stick.
