I need some serious help! I've got many people saying that it's illegal and others say it's not and some say it isn't illegal but will be punished if doing so! My question is how do youtubers like Mr.Stampycat and iBallisticSquid download other peoples adventure maps? They must do so legally because if they did it "the wrong way" than Microsoft would penalize them. I know it can be done in a nonpunishable way, but the question is how! Please help me! Just show me how they do it and I'll be fine! Sorry if I seem like I'm taking this overboard and overreacting, but I've been really stressed trying to find an answer to my problem. So,if you can, please help me out.
There's no 'legal' way to download console maps, period, end of discussion. It's not even allowed to be discussed on this forum.
(And yes, you sound like you're "taking this overboard and overreacting".)
There's plenty of "adventure" worlds you can join and play on without having to download them- just check the 360 Multiplayer section. (Just me, but it doesn't sound like much of an 'adventure' if you've already watched a video of how to play it).
As Snaz suggested, those adventure maps in the videos that you're so desperate to get are probably PC maps, which you can legally download (and that will work... but not on your console).
The process required to download and play maps violates the Microsoft TOS. The discussion of how to download maps for the console versions of Minecraft is also not allowed.
