I am sorry, but I can't sing because I am extremely tone deaf, also, my reason is because I like the series of Sword Art enough that I would like ideas for stuff from it.

By the time you get a sizable maze built, the next update will be out... and you can use levers to manually toggle the Day/Night signal until the next update... or as you said, you can use grass blocks, dirt blocks water and a BUD switch to build your own daylight sensor if you really want to. But the next update should be coming out real soon.
If you use 2 (or more) different sequencers with a different number of states, you can make some interesting combination challenges where certain sequences have to align just right to move on (sort of like a combo lock)... or have some sequencers triggered by some sort of game event.
Ok, so you are correct, and I thank you for that, but I am not a slow builder, I build skyscrapers in the time of one hour, but please don't take this the wrong way, I am just pointing out that I am an extremely fast builder.

I don't care how fast a person is at building... the Next Update was right around the corner (and actually made it out the week before Christmas 2014) and the design complexity of a multi-level shifting sequenced maze that is worth building is 100x more complex than any sky scraper.

Actually, I am really good at redstone as I can build working minecart train systems, A simple piston door is really easy for me.(the minecart system I can remember how to build it on my own.) So, a skyscraper would actually be harder to build than this maze.(also, yes, piston doors are the way to go as they can be build in any way, shape, or form, they can also be built multilayered.)

Then your maze is too simple, and not nearly complex enough. It would take me a lot longer to design what I would consider to be a 'good' maze than it would be to build a city block worth of skyscrapers... and that is without using redstone at all. Adding in simple redstone tricks and triggers ups the complexity level of what I could design from there... using a combination of sequencers can make the maze so convoluted and complex that it might drive players insane... if done right...especially if done in 3 dimensions and across (in and out of) the nether as well.
But if you are THAT good with redstone and building in general, then you should have finished building your sequencers before the most recent update was released. Did you at least get that far?

I did not only because I was trying to find the length and width of the maze for Xbox. But I am really good with redstone.(I can build whole research labs dedicated only to redstone and power(I have also built nuclear reactors that do in fact, emit power))..

A man named Charles Jonathan Newton ...But he got mugged . And then got roughed up . Thrown in a small cell (This wasn't the same prison he escapes from) and tortured ...
He was released a month later after his half-brother named Timothy paid his debt and saved his sorry , ungrateful life .
After this ... Jeff killed his brother for his money . With this money ...

Yes, I am good at redstone, If you tell me what to build, I will figure out how(in fact, for a dungeon I am building, I have a trapped chest that when you open it, you will get stuck in the room and mobs will start to spawn.

Well you looking for an awesome clan? We are actually right now making the official members list
Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it a lot, but I'll have to pass(I'm usually a solo player, so you can probably tell). Thanks anyway.

Well, back to the topic at hand, I am still in need of dungeons for this world, because an RPG without dungeons is no RPG at all.

Ok, So how about stuff from Xenoblade if you know anything that would work.

I have an idea for one dungeon in the map, it is an ice fortress. If you think I should build something different, please state your thoughts.

I'm confused. First you say you want original ideas only, but then want to incorporate SAO and Xenoblade concepts. What exactly constitutes an "original" idea? An original theme? Original trap? Can I suggest for you to make a CTM map... or a Super-hostile? Because those have been done before and by definition NOT original.

As an answer to your question, you may request original ideas/traps/themes/etc. I would also accept ideas that sound like they could be in the universes that I have also asked if people posting on this forum could think of anything. And if you really want, you could even suggest something like The Dropper(however, I would be very unlikely to actually build The Dropper). As for what constitutes as an "original idea" that refers to what you think of and would also like to be seen in an adventure map in my case.

Um, okay....
So let's roll with Greg's proposal of making a maze. I think the maze should be the entire size of the map. This leaves plenty of space for all the redstone wiring needed to operate the "shifting" walls, pitfalls, MOB traps, et cetera.

have to use fire to advance through it? Just an idea.
