Im thinking of making a YouTube account but my survival world was made in March 2014 and has A LOT of progress made in it. I don't know if I should do a start from scratch lets play or continue where I am! Can you guys help me out please! Thanks!

Course, when I think about it, MC has been youtubed to death. You'd just be adding to the overkill.

I somewhat agree with Geneo... Minecraft (and many other vid games actually) have been YouTubed to death. That said, though, creative people can usually always think of a new angle. I think the key to a good YouTube video is YOUR personality and how you inject yourself into the game; and actually very few YouTubers do that part well. Most playthroughs and tutorials are about "marketing" the game and game features. However, with a partially finished world, you could devise a Minecraft "play" rather than "playthrough" and inject some real story development. Just an idea.

Come on guys, it's always better to watch others have fun than to actually have the fun yourself....... everybody knows that.



I have nothing useful to contribute to this thread other than I agree with everybody.

I'd honestly start from scratch, I find people like seeing before and after screenshots just so can appreciate how much effort has been put into it.

Good work playing survival as well.

Start from scratch and do something that makes you "unique" Don't do the same old same old "hey guys I'm playing minecraft. . ." Spice it up, add a challenge, make a new mini-game, make people laugh. Good luck to you. i myself hate that everything minecraft usually is stampy or squid or seth. .Share the love and let others channels grow.
