I started my latest world April 11th of this year, I only play on survival and I have never found a single slime, I tried slime finder tools but maybe they were for pc or something, Can anyone give me an idea of where I should go look? My world seed is: 1322857597684710149
I've had this world since September and never heard one in a cave. That's why I was hoping for a good slime finder tool, maybe i need to go to a cave somewhere else.
I happened to be returning from The End and was ascending the ladder back to the surface when I heard the slip slapping of the slimes, found a few of them at random.
I heard about the swamp in a full moon doohickey but it never worked.
Keep looking, exploring caves all about the world, you'll eventually find one.
Now about your Slime problem, I have found a Website which I have already inserted your seed in so enjoy!
All you have to do is 'Click Here', scroll down and you will be making 'Slime Farms' in no time!
or you can go to these co-ordinates 'X = 10 | Z = -10' dig down and open up the area (Width = 16 | Length = 16 | Height = 4)
Tips
-Light up the Farm and all other caves systems about '15' blocks around it
-Open up the area '5' blocks above bedrock

I went to where you said on the map and it's somewhere I have never really gone underground, under a jungle. I made a the 16x16 room and nothing was going on in it and I heard a monster above in the water so I went to kill it and when i went up there I could hear a slime and found it after searching a few caves.

Well I'm glad you found a Slime try to open up the area a lot more to increase the chance of Slime Spawning this may help..
Tip
-Use TNT to save time but be careful if you do, it's pretty messy

If I dug a giant hole all the way from high ground and then from there I made a bunch of floors, all with three blocks of space, do you think that would work well?

It should increase the spawn rate, but still increase the size a bit maybe 24x24 then dig 1 giant hole (with floors in between)

I've already got it around that big because I marked a few areas where I saw slimes, and then used those coordinates with the ones you gave me, so that's how I based the hole I'm digging, got a ways to go though since it's giant, but once i get lower there will be less to dig with the caves down there.

Well I'm glad I could help, I will list a few tips for you to keep in mind and will give you some more Coordinates to find and start another Slime Farm.
Coordinates
'X = 358 | Z = -55'
'X = 358 | Z = -88'
'X = 40 | Z = -153'
Tips

-Light up the Farm and all other caves systems about '15' blocks around it
-Open up the area '5' blocks above bedrock
-Kill slimes with your fist or a bow not any weapons (melee)
-Small slimes are the only ones that drop 'Slime Balls' (0-2)

Here's what I have so far, that hole going down in that top corner a few blocks down is where I found the first slime, then right below where I took the picture from I found two others. This is in a jungle too, that's why the vines have been growing down.
I think the biggest trouble with a slime farm is that all other hostile mobs that spawn are decreasing you chances of having a slime spawn. Its very time consuming, but you need to light up every cave in something like a 120 block radius of your slime spawner. If done successfully this should greatly increase your number of slimes. Also slimes only spawn below level 40. I hope that wasnt too confusing.
I've already got 27 slimeballs I think, so this area is good, hopefully will work well once I have this hole completed, I'm gonna have several levels all the way back up to the surface and maybe in the middle will be the ladder with glass around so I can go up and down looking at each level, at the bottom I was thinking of making a very long minecart track to a village at the bottom of my map, thought that maybe that would also help to get monsters to despawn, by traveling down there and back.
The course you're taking looks good. Slimes spawn from bedrock (not on bedrock) up to Y=39 so the more spawning platforms you can make within that range the better. 4 high ceilings are best. And yes, slimes share the hostile mob cap so try to torch up the caves around the area in a 150ish block radius to prevent mob spawning. That should increase the slime spawn rates. Slimes can also spawn on jack-o-lanterns so use them in the floor to help light up the area.

Spawners are immensely difficult too.
