It's pretty boring when 2 flowers, oak and birch trees are the only common plants to come across.

I don't see it that way. Terrain changes the way trees look, biomes make the trees leaves different colors. Other things like vines or lilly pads (in swamps) make the trees feel different. There are several issues that are morte important to me than trees. I am glad that we can now create more flowers with bonemeal. I like using flowers in gardens around a house but don't want to take them all out of the forest. Plus mushrooms are like flowers with hats on.

I agree with the post above. The Pc has quite a few different types of flowers and trees. Maybe 4j will pull these forward.
