Alright Ive seen tons of post on this on pc and how to recover maps but I'm unable to figure it out on 360.00
So first off let me start by saying when I attempt to load my map it freezes and will not show a loading bar.
My map is corrupt in some sort of way because I lost power when it was saving. In my xbox memory partition there are no corruption Yellow "!".
So one thing I did notice was that when I view the map and have the ability to change the difficulty as well as survival to creative, I do not have a map seed number like I do on the rest of my maps.
Next thing is when I attempt to open the file in Horizon to check all my tags and ID numbers, I am missing the savegame.dat.
Tough luck, loosing power in the middle of a save.
There's a very good chance you can't recover it... and maybe for the better- you not like the result even if you could recover it enough to load.
I'm sure by now you've already started a new world. I'd consider the old one history and not worry about it.

#2. USB Flash Drives.
I suggest you use one of them to make backups of your saves at the end of each play session from now on. Live and learn.
