The layout of bookshelves that yields Level 30 enchantments is shown in the Wiki under the heading "Enchantment Mechanics." It's the same on the Xbox as it is on the PC. Thje specific enchantments are randomly generated... that is, there is no way to encourage the table to yield more "fortune enchantments" specifically. The formulae involved are described in detail also on this page of the Wiki. The odds of getting specific enchantments and specific levels of XP may also be viewed using any one of a number of "enchantment calculators" that can be found online
Silk Touch is the only way to collect the table without breaking it. And like Up_Up said, the "calculators" and mechanic explanations will only show probability. You just have to keep plugging away at it in order to get multiple of anything. Go for max bookshelves and make your enchanting room near a decent XP farm.

You dont need silk touch. The enchantment table does not break when you mine it.

I think he's thinking about the enderchest then again if you don't use silk touch, it just drops 8 obsidian blocks and you loose your eye of ender.
So he might not know that. You don't need ST dude

Pickaxes only.
Oh man it's the chest that breaks? That's what I get for not playing anymore....... I done lost my mind.
Books dont take enchantments easily and you spend more levels if you try for the same enchantment on a book than if you enchant the raw tool itself.
Here are some online calculators

Curse PremiumI mostly enchant just iron picks just because I get: Unbreaking III, Eff IV Fortune III (or Silk Touch) of the very first enchant.
