There are 3 types of bricks in strongholds. Stone Bricks, Mossy Stone Bricks and Cracked Stone Bricks. My understanding is that there is a chance mining stronghold bricks will turn into silver fish.
1- Once you mine a brick from the stronghold and place it elsewhere can it still turn into silver fish?
2- Are stone bricks from strongholds any different from stone bricks you make yourself? In creative there is a Stone Brick called the Silverfish Stone Brick but I see no difference between stronghold stone bricks and my stone bricks.
3- If the silver fish spawner is destroyed does that make any difference whether bricks can turn into silverfish?
4- If you place stone bricks in a stronghold that you made can they turn into silverfish if mined?
5- If you mine blocks from a stronghold (for instance to place redstone wiring) and place it back does that alter whether it can turn into silverfish in the future if mined?
6- if you build a building out of silverfish stone bricks and then booby trap it with TNT when it blows wil it spawn dozens of silverfish?
7- The Stone Brick you can get in creative that is called the silverfish stone brick. Is it 100% of the time going to produce a silverfish if mined or is it some percentage?
The silverfish blocks, whichever variety of stone brick, are pre-existing. Meaning that they do not have a chance to become silverfish, those blocks were already there, they are already silverfish. Placing any blocks obtained from a stronghold will not turn into silverfish randomly later on.
The bricks are visually indentical to other stone bricks. Also destroying the spawner will not alter the existing silverfish. You'll only limit new silverfish from being spawned.
There are only a few block types silverfish can enter, stone, stone bricks(normal, cracked, mossy) and cobble. If you destroy the spawner there won't be any more silverfish to enter these blocks, other than the already existing silver.
As for number 6.. You have to look at how silverfish 'spawn' from blocks. When a single sliverfish goes after a player and is damaged but not killed other nearby silverfish with jump out and attack the player. Which can lead to a chain reaction as you can imagine. Also if you one shot a silverfish others will not spawn.. It doesn't seem to trigger the social agro if they are killed too quickly. The same mechanic seems to be present in wolves and zombie pigmen.
There are actually four different types of bricks in strongholds. The regular bricks, the cracked bricks, the mossy bricks and monster eggs. The monster eggs (A.K.A. silverfish bricks) look the same as the regular bricks, but are actually different blocks. If you make your own stone bricks, they will never turn into silverfish if you break them, again, because the monster eggs and atone bricks are different.
Here's a trick for telling the silverfisb and regualr blocks apart: Try breaking it with your hand. You can break silverfish blocks with your hand as fast as you can break wool. And if you mine them with a pickaxe, the silverfish blocks take slightly longer to mine.

well if you have a silk touch pick axe, you can mine the block and the silverfish will still pop out and attack. but the block will still fall like you mined it
not sure if you learned of this yet. but its helpful

I did not know that. Thanks. Usually I like to leave the stronghold as is and just repair missing blocks so it looks good. but the stronghold in my world looks like a car wreck due to ravines/caves so I have gotten rid of some groups of blocks in weird places.

"Jake groaned and rolled onto his side."
The Master Roleplayer was born...
You know who found that interesting?
