So I needed some help on my Minecraft Series! I plan to basically spawn in Diamonds and other useful resources to start me off! I do not like creating new worlds and finding more diamonds or the slow start off.
For my YouTube series I was going to start off with:
100 Diamonds
100 Gold
100 Iron
32 Wood
8 Steak
On this series I just want to build in Survival mode and not have to show all the other boring Minecraft stuff. MY old world I have played since the beginning of MC360 which was in 2012 and that world is now unplayable. I just wanted some opinions if you thought the starting items were too much. The only reason why I want to spawn in my stuff is I don't want to have my first 10 episodes being just 20 minutes of me mining.. Rather actually build something interesting and keep the attention of the viewers! Thanks!
You obviously don't care about leader boards or achievements, otherwise you would not use creative mode to spawn items in for you to use.
Since you do not mind creative mode then your existing world is far from unplayable, there is always something you can do to expand or improve it....
As for a new survival world, I hate watching a video where people spawn in the resources they need, its not survival if you use creative mode to get a couple stacks of diamonds....

I agree with this guy. If you going to do survival, then do it. If you just want to build things, then use creative. That's what they are for.

And I also think you went a little overkill with the diamonds and iron. A half stack of diamonds, and a stack of iron would be plenty.
