So my friends and I are wanting to get together and build a huge town war clash of clans type thing in mine craft xbox. But with only 8 people allowed in the server it would only be 4v4 and the map size we plan to build it is almost the entire world. I will not get into detail about the town war in this thread but in future threads to come.
So all I am asking is, is there a way to double the server size on the 360. Not the xbox one, I am already aware of double server size on the xbox one. I don't plan on buying an xbox one, at the moment.
But all I am asking would there be a technological way to double the server size. Make it 16 players, 8v8 for my map would be awesome!

No, there is currently no way to double the number of players that can be in a world at one time. It is probably not something you would want to do anyway, since many people report significant lag issues even with just 8 players. Think about it. Multiplayer works without you physically uploading your world to an actual server by using the host console like a server... and that host console only has 512 MB of RAM and processors that were designed 10 years ago.

I'm not. Where did you hear such information? I'm actually not being sarcastic. Is there MCXBone info out there that I haven't seen? Or are you just talking about larger multiplayer games in general?
