Ok, so when I launch minecraft, it automatically signs me off xbox live. I've tried several times to reconnect to Xbox live and it isn't working, but when I check my connection it's says it's connected to xbox live. Also, it thinks I still have the trial version, but I paid for the full version. So basically, I've lost all my maps and everything I worked on for at least 5 years. I am very frustrated and upset.
A. Minecraft has only been available on the Xbox 360 for a little over 2 years, so you could not have been working on your maps on the Xbox for "at least 5 years.
B. I guessing that you've bought a new console... and you need to transfer the licence through your Xbox account (via the Xbox website online).
I've noticed that I tend to have quite a few connection problems with XBL while playing Minecraft. Some days I can join a friend's game easily and the map will load as if I was the host, but on some days I will get the disconnected from server error message when trying to join that same friend's game and won't be able to join. It could possibly be my network, but that's highly unlikely as the connection on every other game I play is fine. I think Minecraft 360 just has some connection bugs that need to be fixed.
