Maybe, or maybe they just didn't see the need to mention it. When they added breeding, they said added baby animals without mentioning each type, but using the term "animals" let us know no baby villagers.
Since breeding is in place in is probably implied and the reason baby villagers are mentioned is that they are separate from animal breeding.
Considering it had originally been added in another update, you can't assume they added it in TU12. That seems to me like something they'd mention if it was in there. But I guess all we can do is wait.
Curious.. they added the chiseled stone bricks to creative.. when do they get put in survival? Tried looking thru the change logs from PC but couldn't locate it.. or do they not have that in survival on PC either?
It seems the only way to obtain chiseled stone bricks in survival on PC is in a Jungle Temple, and even then there are only 3. So until we get temples, it will be Creative only.
Well I just realized something that will make a lot of people upset at TU12. I was reading up on ocelots and noticed that in 1.3.1 in the PC version, they made ocelots breedable. 4j studios did not put down "Baby ocelots" under the New Mobs section in the changelog.
So essentially, we are getting ocelots, and we can tame them, but we don't get kittens. Not yet.
Just because its not in the change-log doesn't mean we won't get baby ocelots/cats. I'm pretty sure we get them.

With this new update, now Zombies will not be frowned upon any longer. When night falls, we will need to be even more vigilante as they will hunt us down one by one till we've joined the horde. Craft your Iron Doors, hide the women and children, and prepare for a new survival experience like no other!!!
Hard mode is going to get even more exciting, for those who are not the faint of heart and dare to venture into the unknown that is Minecraft.
And the fact of them not being specific on the baby Ocelot issue has me curious as well... Eh, I'd just wait till the update comes and see if you can get baby kittens or not.
Cert testing isn't about finding bugs. The Xbox ecosystem is a gated environment, meaning that everything has to be approved in order to be released to everybody. Cert testing is about examining all sorts of details about the software to make sure it conforms to certain standards that Microsoft has decided on.
Apparently part of the cert testing are certain rules about how long it takes before a product is 'certified' regardless of how long it actually takes to confirm a product meets the standards. I've seen some rumors that Microsoft might be easing the standards so that certification will be much faster in the future (a couple days maybe?) but nothing confirming they've implemented it yet.

Hmm, yeah.
And Jungle Leaves wasn't listed under "new items" so the trees are going to be bald.

you know i was curious about that a well. i don't think it was creative specific for pc. though i could be wrong. but with our easy crafting recipes you'd think it wouldn't be difficult to add to survival. but im almost exclusively working on creative now so its not a big isue for me personally. but i do feel bad for those who are building in survival... though ill say this now there could be an irrefutable way to determine whether someone built something "legit" which some people seem obsessed over.
on the subject of ocelots i imagine there will be baby cats (kittens) not ocelots since they distinguish between the two when they are tamed (though, if they act like wolves they will grow into untamed ocelots). i think its an assumed fact there will be babes since animal breeding is now a big part of the game. that being said you never know they may be a rare find like wolves before breeding and back in the day when they only seemed to spawn in a few places.
i think all of you guys are over examining this. they arent saying that they are adding baby cats because its not important we already know that we can breed so its obvious there will be babies. and same things with the leaves do you seriously think they are adding jungles with no leaves. they leave out un-important stuff

You are 100%correct, but the source that information came from was before MC XBLA was released.
The whole idea was streamlining the process for a game like MC, which was planing regular updates. No other game was doing that.
The idea that it takes up to 10 business days is bad info. It takes as long as it takes. So far it has been awesome turnaround from the submission to MS and release. Obviously if there is an issue it takes longer, and, more to the point, they re not just testing for bugs, but compliance with their established rules.
Again, though, since most the changes have little to do with MS rules, the wait is quick but that is also why last time we had a critical bugfix update even though it was MS Certified.
For a personal guess, I'm totally expecting it this week, but the new height completely changes the save file, so who knows.

No Mercy, No Quarter!
I've always read cert. testing to mean verifying interface type things for the Xbox system (ie. button colors, menu language and headings, save / exit messages, etc.). If that's the case, I'm pretty sure that 4J has a pretty good understanding of what color the A/B/X/Y buttons are supposed to be.
The only thing that I'm unsure of is the new interface that comes along with the texture/mash-up packs. Is that something that Microsoft is going to be looking at? If so, cert. testing may take a little longer than we're accustomed to this time around. When was the last time we had an update that significantly changed the menus?
Microsoft are making a fortune from Minecraft on 360. They are the game's publisher. Deals are done constantly with other IP holders for the skins and now "mash ups". I expect Microsoft are all over this update.
I'd recommend certification is basically a formality at this point. The idea that 4J and Microsoft aren't talking to each other every day just seems ridiculous to me. This update could be out on Wednesday (or whenever Live updates usually come to your country.)
I'm pretty sure the updates have almost always taken the full 10 days.

i think last major update (tu 9) took only 5 to 7 days but i could be wrong. i just cant wait for the new update its gonna be pretty amazing. THANK YOU 4j and whoever works on the Xbox version of minecraft i just think you guys deserve a thanks for all you guys have done to make this a truly amazing game. so thank you.
Cert is almost guaranteed to take the full 10-days, if only because MCXBLA isn't the only program M$ has to cert test. Contrary to popular belief, M$ does not have an army of cert testors sitting around waiting to look at a screen for 5 minuates and say "yeah, uh, that looks right...."
I can also guarantee that M$ does turn cert testing over to "beta-testors." It's done by in-house staff going line-by-line through the relevent code.
I'm pretty sure the updates have almost always taken the full 10 days.
I've noticed that, but only with feature updates. All the bug fixes that I can remember have taken only a few days. Otherwise, if they add features, they take the full 10 days.
With that, I predict the 27th for a release, which is my birthday (I know it probably won't happen but still...).

- Added Corner Stairs and upside down Corner Stairs.
ah I must have misread it then. Didn't see that in there. Thank you.
