Certification testing is something 4J has to go through before each update can be out. Cert I 'believe' can take up to 10 business days. (Business days being Monday-Friday) This is Microsoft's way of testing the update for things that MS worrys about, like the correct shading of on screen buttons and stuff. If it fails (Which none have on the xbox) it'll be send back to 4J for them to fix. If not the update comes out when it's done.
Well, it's Friday, so we should probably be hearing at least something today since they tweeted on Monday they hoped to be in cert at the end of the week.
If it isn't, I really hope they tweet something to tide us over the weekend.

Ok I am new to the forums so I don't know if someone has already asked this or if it is against the rules to ask, but do we have an idea of how much points the mash up packs might cost?
(p.s. Moderator if this is against the rules please don't lock the thread or anything, I will be more than willing to remove the post or have it removed.)

I'm not a moderator but I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with your question. Asking about update release dates, however, is against the rules. And to answer your question, nobody really knows yet. However, my guess is that they'll be around $2 (160 MSP), similar to skin packs.
I wonder what changes they made to the double doors? I tried it few times watched a few tutorials and realized there was no way it was ever worth the resources, effort, space.

Nothing wrong with the question. Basically we just don't allow questions about update dates since until it is posted (which we're now in cert testing) there is no known date. Speculation leads to rumors and lots of upset people when the day comes and goes without an update.
Generally discussion in this thread I believe is very lenient for as long as everyone is polite to others, not spamming, and mostly keep discussion to tweeted information.

With how much is in a mash up pack, I would probably guess that it might be around the price of a xbox theme. (240+ maybe?)

Well, at first I was thinking it would be more than a skin pack because we'd be getting more than just skins, but we're probably not getting as many. Say a 160 MSP skin pack has 50 skins. In a mash up pack maybe we'd get somewhere between 5-10 skins, so the 40-45 skins we didn't get will be replaced with the textures, music, etc., effectively equaling out the cost.
That's just how I'm looking at it. It's also very likely they'll be more expensive, but I wouldn't expect they'd be that much more.

You're guess is as good as mine. I was also figuring the cost of a world save they said would be included in the themed packs.
Well I just realized something that will make a lot of people upset at TU12. I was reading up on ocelots and noticed that in 1.3.1 in the PC version, they made ocelots breedable. 4j studios did not put down "Baby ocelots" under the New Mobs section in the changelog.
So essentially, we are getting ocelots, and we can tame them, but we don't get kittens. Not yet.
actually ahmad i think purple mushroom was being sarcastic, or ironic, these words may go over your head since you used a meme sentence format to respond, and quite honestly hilarious. in fact i wish i had of chimed in first. you should lighten up.

Maybe, or maybe they just didn't see the need to mention it. When they added breeding, they said added baby animals without mentioning each type, but using the term "animals" let us know no baby villagers.
Since breeding is in place in is probably implied and the reason baby villagers are mentioned is that they are separate from animal breeding.
Curious.. they added the chiseled stone bricks to creative.. when do they get put in survival? Tried looking thru the change logs from PC but couldn't locate it.. or do they not have that in survival on PC either?

I am guessing double that, but like you said, we don't know yet.

Forum AdminI didn't even think about that... you're probably right.
