So the disc edition will come out about now, and about a month later in some territories. I'm betting they will aim for mid-to-late July for TU12 and do the marketing blitz for it in the early weeks of July.
I think Microsoft would see it as a good opportunity to get the game to people who aren't online, give them a month or so, then start with the "don't you wish your Xbox was online?"

Hey Mr Confident, the disc version came out June 4 in some territories and will come out June 28 (about a month later) in some other territories (eg UK).
oh i see. im in north america and i read of some minecraft things its coming on june 28 for us
dont even waist your time. i asked them a question once. they still never replied. plus i think they are not mentioning update stuff for a reason meaning if you sk about the update they will only give a vague answer . or a answer in riddles

4J gets hundreds and thousands of tweets a day. It's very unlikely they even see it / have time to read them all.

I'm not sure then. I can imagine anywhere that they put info for contact that they would get bombarded with messages/tweets/PMs ect... Otherwise, I don't know.
It's been quite confused as the dates have changed a number of times. Australia's version of GameStop sent me an email saying its in stores now, it WAS meant to be on sale in the US on June 4 and was announced for the UK on June 28. I think the original date was late April and it slipped a few times after that.
It's only a matter of curiosity I guess, as presumably everyone here is happy with their downloaded copy!

I wish they would put everything from 1.6 in the update, if that was the last Xbox update ever I would be completely fine with it because I NEED HORSES AND LEADS AND NAME TAGS!
That was absolutely to be expected. With the addition of a new biome (jungles), terrain generation in the old tutorial world seed would change, so the structures in the tutorial world would not necessarily even "sit" on the new land or might get covered over by hills and such. I enjoy seeing what different structures they build into their tutorial worlds each time they change it. I hope they decide to put in another lighthouse because I miss the old one... but, I'm half expecting something more on a jungle theme this time round... maybe an Mayan temple.
