I don't think they can add anymore achievements anyway.. 200 or so is max I believe for arcade games on Xbox.
oh i did not know that. i thought achievements really had no limit to them

They can add up to 400 achievement points...Maybe 800, not too sure. The only problem is that they need to be via DLC only. It's Microsoft policy that they don't be added via update.
We can confirm based on the picture that we aren't getting the "smart steps" that auto-conform to corners. If we were they surely would have shown it on the corner of the house's roof.
No offense, but using the pic as final confirmation as to what we are or aren't getting is presumptuous at best. In order to get the auto conform to corners effect, a stair has to be placed directly next to an opposite facing stair. To me, after looking at the pic a few times, it seems that the lack of the auto-conforming to corners is because the stair is placed one block back.
Below is a photo for reference:
On the left is a stair that is placed one block to the left. With that placement, you don't get the auto conformity. On the on the right, the stair is placed in the same row as the others, giving you the wrap around affect. So it seems to me that at this point, that just because something isn't in the pic, doesn't necessarily mean we won't get it. To me at least, it's a bad idea to make assumptions about anything until the change log comes out.
oh yeah. on the xbox we cannot do that. i forgot. i remember i had tried it once but it did not work.

Hmm...makes me wonder when they added them... oh well... that would be good addition, but I am unsure if it will be or not, unless that happens to be originally in 1.2.3 version. Otherwise it is a toss up then...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
when the update comes out, i need create new World for new structures?
If Jungle Temples, Desert Temples, and Desert Wells are included in the next update, then yes you'd have to create a new world for the new structures. At the moment, we don't know much about anything. We'll know more when TU12's change log is released.

WIP 128x 64x, SEUS support, Mod support in the pipeline TEKKIT, FTB, the more support the more mods!
For jungles more than likely you will have to create a new map, as it is only a chance for unexplored areas to have jungles. as for structures we do not know yet whether those will be in or not. Since those were added at a later version, but whom is to say...

I don't mind starting a new map every now and then. It adds a new freshness, or blank slate, to the game. I look forward to some seeds of tropical islands and such *CoughArtomixcough*
I've been keeping the northern half of my main map from TU7 unexplored on the very slim hope that I'll get a jungle there later. Will probably cause some awkward cliffs that will need manual grinding down into natural looks but it's the only hope I really have of not having to start a new map later.
I'll never be able to get nether quartz though as I'm not going to reset the nether and wipe away what I've done in there.
lol all i do in the nether is find blaze spawners and kill blazes so im completely fine with resetting nethers

I am all for the corner stairs, but I think another feature that would be nice is the sideways logs. =D

Unsure it will be in this one though, but would be nice to see eventually...:D

Yeah they can be a pain if your off at the slightest angle when placing them. The reason I like them is due to the rustic feel it gives when building medieval or a nice modern cabin.
im actually glad they havnt put anything new up. it saves me from gettin spammed on mc forums and it saves 4j from the stress of people nagging and bugging themi wont be surprised if the only thing they put up is the release date and thats it

Oh man, the wait is a killer. No news for a few days feels like a century at times. lol
I was thinking about the possible trading among villagers and then heard about professions. What might these be hmm?
They're different jobs for the villagers. You can trade with the villagers, but villagers of different professions will offer different trades (like a butcher will buy raw meat from you, a librarian might sell you a bookshelf, or a priest might enchant a sword or tool for you.

Would be hard to get use to, but enjoyable to say the least. Be cool of the development team to have this feature added with the stair changes.
