I don't understand why you'd need to be careful. If you chop trees and turn into planks, wouldn't you be able to see the difference in the colors in your toolbar? I can't wait to start building with different woods. Going to start working on some tree farms and get a bunch of wood saved up. Need frames, and all the other cool stuff as well. Wish the day would get here!
no i think it just shows one type of planks but when you turn wood into planks it has its color. see i am a go to the nearest tree and mine it kinda of personbut if they do make it so it shows all of them that would be great

yes that what i was trying to say. i wasnt sure if they would be in the hot bar (assuming the hot bar is the menu for crafting stuff)

Anyone else thinking they might be slipping Jungles into TU9 for the disc edition and to satisfy all the people continually bamboozled by the changing biome code?
I think thats a PC picture because they actually said no jungle biomes didn't they?

I wondered that too, because they'd probably be flooded with questions about where the ocelots and jungles and iron golems are, and if the disc is for people without an internet connection, they'd still not get them when they do come out.

They've said there will be no Jungles, Ocelots, Iron Golems, etc, in TU9.

you know even if they did lie to us about jungles and all that id stil be kinda happy at least we will have something to look forward to that we wont know is in there yet

I didn't see the "ignore the jungle wood" line in that earlier post, thought it was an official shot.
That said, I think it's very unlikely jungles will be in, but their comments on it feel like it was months ago (TU8 was late January?) and this was well before the on-disc edition was announced. Things may have changed in that intervening period, but it's more likely the long delay is just bigger focus on bug-fixing since TU9 will be on the disc.
Microsoft would probably be smart to deliberately leave out desirable content from the on-disc edition, to encourage those slackers to get online!
They're probably leaving jungles out for that exact reason.

Okay, I'm super stoked to see what thier adding. I haven't been this excited since getting my first Crossbow in the Skyrim DLC Dawnguard. Would flipping love to see Adventure mode added.
