I'm guessing if they ever do come out with a minecraft 2, whenever they start work on that, they'll probably at least slow down updates for PC, if not stop them completely.
I'm guessing, that if they do start minecraft 2, that they might do an update eventually to bring xbox as close as possible to PC within hardware and financial limits. They've already made their money on minecraft for xbox, and all these free updates are great, but they aren't going to continuously update a years old game. However, we might move onto the next generation before any of these possibilities can come up, so it's all moot.

I believe that Minecraft will be going strong for quite a few years and I don't believe they would make a Minecraft 2 because there is no reason for making one when all they have to do is make updates for Minecraft currently.

Yeah man. What I liked is the fact that they Said They will ne looking into player created mods and possibly adding them. I mean heck. If they don't program it to peek at a USB drive for mods may as well set it up with "the best mods of all time" or something. That and or texture packs. That will be also awesome.I honestly would like the ability to copy mods onto a flash drive. But that's just me.
Kinda makes me wonder why they don't just add a widget to have the 4J twitter feed right on the main Minecraft 360 forum. I am a forum owner myself and I do this. It gives everyone a chance to see the main updates and makes it blatantly obvious.
I agree. There is no need to make a Minecraft 2. You update this current version with new blocks and mobs. To really change this game and expand it further, you would have to convince Microsoft to allow add ons like the PC version. The only problem is, the current X Box can only do so much. With the new creative mode, why would they make a minecraft 2? What could it possibly contain that can't be implemented into this current version?

Off topic. i have the beta dashboard, nothing much. IE is in. Browsing from Xbox.. meh.
Wow I didn't even know they were planning to put browsing on Xbox, that's kinda cool but knowing Internet Explorer I bet it's laggy and clunky. Waiting for the update has been much easier after the other day. I finally got a payment after waiting weeks for it and bought a new laptop and camera. I've been playing games like Team Fortress 2 and Black Mesa, games I could never dream of playing on my old desktop.
But I'm not playing Minecraft. Even though I do have a premium account, I could still play that on my old computer with minimum settings, I'm more excited for creative on Xbox to be honest. I don't know why but to me it's so much better than the full version on PC.
okay, so since we are all oh so super excited about this update that some of you think will be coming out tonight... which is wont be, and at this rate won't be out until like xmas.. Thinking about just saying forget the xblox version and getting the PC one... but My computer freaks out on the demo.. I don't really want to waste the money and get the PC verison to find out my computer cant even handle it... any thoughts?
