we should probably stop building on our current mine craft worlds, we are just waisting our time... After the 1.8 update, we will have to delete our current worlds to enjoy everything in 1.8

They have tweeted such things many times. People just choose to either not listen and ignore them and/or take advice from other sources which arent correct.

well cert testing can take up to 10 days they said so it will be 10 days as from this friday so fingers crossed that cert team havent found any bugs . witch will then mean we shud get it any time from friday if i have worked it all out
10 working days sat-monday didnt count. Niether will this upcoming sat-sun. I believe that would make wednesday the last possible day. But friday still looks hopeful.

I'm actually just a Minecraft player who actually pays attention to release dates instead of wild speculation. 4J will announce the update through twitter.
Well it is takeing WAYYY TOO LONGGG I am so frustrated with it not yet but almost to the point of bugging 4j to refund me my money..... if it's not up by this comming friday I will probly get rid of it ... I have ben waiting for almost 3 weeks now...

You also have no idea what you are talking about. You can't blame 4J for practices by Microsoft. People need to be patient instead of freaking out. 3 weeks is not a long time at all. How will you get rid of an Arcade game? Grow up, bud.

I don't understand why people act like children, it's just an update. There are plenty of games out there to keep people busy even free games like doritos crash course! If 4j is going to announce the date it will most likely be a day or two before the update rolls out even then you still have to wait for the update to hit worldwide.
