All of these questions and ideas are just what I wish the game can eventually become, if you like any of these please spread the word and help get them considered for a future update. In a future update we should be able to adjust a bar in options that lowers fps and view distance, allowing for larger worlds, will this be possible? I have many G's of hard drive space I will never use, like 55 g's, is an update possible that could use extra hard drive space to enable larger worlds? If the worlds have to stay small, what if the edges of the map are turned into a loading screen that loads a whole new section of the world the same size, allowing the game to stop thinking about the section you just came from to let you explore more of the game you havn't seen, imagine having many worlds connected by loading, the game is much funner the bigger it is because you explore new places instead of seeing everything in ten minutes, a lot of us don't just stay in one area near our base, is this possible? Even with every enemy finally added eventually, many of my friends and I feel like there is a lack of things to fight, could there ever be xbox exclusive enemies added to add more fun to the game? Large enemies are fun, my friends and I think more would be good, imagine mining and falling into a underground cave that happens to be the home of a large boss, it would be fun and scarey, a lot of random encounters like that would make the game exciting just to mine because you wouldn't know when it could happen, is this possible for an update? I love this game but eventually you've seen it all, to make replayability better could an update add stuff like shields, dual weilding, two handed weapons, more armor types like wool armor, wood armor, stone armor, obsidian armor, maybe even be able to craft a spell book with rare materials and enchanting the book after you craft it, then the book would only let you shoot a few projectile magic attacks like fireball and stuff before it breaks and you need to make a new one, is this possible? I love the feeling of finding good ores, could they add more kinds of rare finds like may ruby, saphire, emerald, onyx, this would open up more options for crafting, is this possible for an update?

This wall of text has many ideas that have been stated before. Sadly, many of them are just never going to happen.

Two days since their last tweet! TWO DAYS! And apparently, my friend told me it was supposed to be released over the weekend but they found a bug and they have to go back and fix it... so now, according to my friend, it should release on Friday. But, he could be totally wrong..

cert testing is done on business days and today is day 4 of the 7-10 it takes. friday would be the earliest it would b finished but i believe updates happen on tuesdays so it would be a week from today if its green lighted. however, tuesday would be day 9 of 10 so it would either be a late week release or the following tuesday.

I hate knowing the facts and being smart enough to know I can't expect this update to come out as early as friday considering Microsoft is in charge of it's release D; -depression- lol its Minecraft XBLA release wait all over again =__=

i'm still holding out hope for the end of this week. >_<

same here DX I want to hold on to the possibility of friday but the bigger possibility of being next week is bringing me down a bit =__=.

we should probably stop building on our current mine craft worlds, we are just waisting our time... After the 1.8 update, we will have to delete our current worlds to enjoy everything in 1.8

there is no word on anvil conversion yet is there? I would like to see that happen with this update but I don't expect that for another year or so.(:shurgs: Who knows.)

i hope with 1.9 and other updates coming soon, we don't have to start a new world.

Everyone should download the Forza Horizon demo while you wait. It is incredible. Reminds me of Burnout Paradise.
