Yay, now I can finally get back to playing MC for a week or two. Haven't played on PC nor 360 in over two months, and with this new update, I will finally be able to sit back instead of being crouched over at a computer desk, and create some stuff.
Nice! I like some of the simple features they added like the autosave countdown timer. And I cant wait to find those chests in the tutorial. Kinda disappointed that the different wood plank colors wont be there, but oh well I suppose. We got quite enough content, I'm not gonna complain hehe.
Anyone know what the mining speed changes are that are brought forward from 1.2.3? I can't find anything about it in wiki change logs, nor Google. I'm guessing it's just the Redstone change?

Yes, well, I know that. What I want to know is which of the ores is the change for? Because I'm pretty sure that it only affected Redstone, & maybe Obsidian. Can't remember though.
Latest tweets regarding controlls explain why sprint is a double tap forward.
In creative, d-pad up and down is mapped to precision up and down flight (jump and down Rstick are fast move). Since you can "sprint" in flight mode, and they have taken the dpad for precision flight, they need to leave the camera controls on Lstick click.
