4J studios has just released a new picture on their twitter feed that confirms bunnies, lapis for enchanting, packed ice I believe, and dozens of blocks which I cannot identify myself. Also the bunny looks like the killer bunny due to the horizontal red eyes and pure white fur. However the killer bunny does not spawn naturally, not even in the PC edition of Minecraft. So could this possibly be a console exclusive?

4j has not mentioned new villager trading and banners. And it would be nice if they allowed mobs to spawn beyond Y120.
Well, banners were added in PC version 1.8, and our next big update looks to be the 1.8 update. So while they haven't brought up that specific item, it doesn't mean it won't be added. I would like to guess that it will be, since it was added in 1.8 on PC. But 4J is known to hint at things, both directly and indirectly.

All I want is the Nether mob cap to be fixed. Getting blaze rods in large amounts is a pain since spawner rooms are the safest place in the Nether anymore.

That would be a big improvement.

And looks like we're getting our very first exclusive block: smooth sandstone stairs, according to the screenshot, which means we may also get chiseled sandstone stairs!
And the biggest question: what about command blocks? Can 360 even handle them?
Probably not going to be added, at least not this update. The 360 could definitely handle simpler commands, for example when you "Set Day," "Set Night," or change weather using the Host Options menu, those are basically just buttons which input commands. I doubt it could handle all the codes PC has though. The problem with Code Blocks is they require a decent amount of typing, so they'd be a feature that is mostly only practical for people with USB Keyboards. Mostly.
Smooth stone stairs are confirmed (see their twitter), that's a first for any mc version right?
So are Smooth Sandstone stairs, as someone has already mentioned. An interesting choice, to have the first console exclusives be Stairs, but I'm not complaining.
EDIT: Or did you mean Smooth Sandstone stairs? I don't see Smooth Stone Stairs on their twitter

I've seen the screenshot, I think the resolution on the picture is a little low, so the regular sandstone stairs appear smooth, so people think their coming. I could be wrong.

Nope, the wiki clearly states that they do not spawn naturally and can only be spawned using commands.

Killer bunnies did spawn naturally, then they didn't, then they will again, so....
Stay fluffy~
That's pretty tough to set for the Killer Rabbit, but I'd love a spawn egg just for him. Also, another screenshot! What took them?

Retired StaffI believe your unidentified blocks are Andersite, Diorite, and Granite, and their polished counterparts.
You guys might want to check 4J's Twitter right now. And I'll give you a hint: search for Melrose Abbey pictures on Google.
I just saw Ecko Soldier's video this morning. I like the new tutorial world. Looks awesome.
I just hope it launches soon, like last year. In a week or 2 from now, because it shouldn't take too long to finish a tutorial map.

I would LOVE to see banners as I am an asian build enthusiast
Still hoping for the oriental mashup lol
Perpetually negative
I love using my design skills to create logos, so banners are on my list of most anticipated adds too. That and customizable skins.

Yeah, I'm with you on that one.

Just for clarification, does new village trading mean new villager professions, like fisherman or just new items for trade?
