The cool thing is that these are 1.8 features, so hopefully that means that we'll finally go all the way up to 1.8(.7).
That's a huge speculative leap. The fences, doors, and coarse dirt are available through crafting recipes. It doesn't tell us anything about the new enchanting system, ocean temples (and it's subsequent blocks), bunnies or anything else 1.8 has. For all we know the recipes were simply pulled forward.
Also, assuming it would be brought up to the very latest version of PC is wishful thinking at best. If anything it would be closer to 1.8.2.
I'm willing to bet, though, it'll be 1.7 with crafting recipes pulled from 1.8 (meaning, hopefully, we'll get early access to andesite, granite, and diorite).
Between that and this post by 4JSteve it's confirmation that the console editions are getting Books and Quills.

I am having problems with getting the Greek Mythology mashup pack trial to work. I've deleted it and re- downloaded it to see if it would help but it still said the same thing! Anyone have the same problem or had the same problem and fixed it? I really want to try this mashup pack out because it looks really great, not only do i want to try it out before getting it, I'm afraid if i do buy it won't work either. Thanks for any help guys!
It keeps popping up the same thing of "Sorry there is nothing available for purchase at this time for xbox live" or something close like that each time I try to load it up so I can check the pack out myself. It's really irritating, also tried my best friends account, got the trial version and it did same thing. Maybe the trial just doesn't work? Hopefully just the trial doesn't work cause I want this mashup pack so bad! Just afraid of getting the actual thing and it not working as well.
Oh and I did look this up a bit but it seems no one else is having this problem, saw one person who had but the suggestion of how to fix it didn't work either.
I can tell you that I purchased the map pack based solely on the map that came with it. I am impressed with the scale and size of the builds, and figured $3.99 was a small price for something that they worked so hard to create. This is not like other mashup packs, where the structures are all exterior with no guts. These things are HUGE, and they are detailed both outside and inside. This one blew other mashup maps away, and the texture pack is beautiful and detailed (check out the lava!) I think it was well worth it.
I couldn't wait any longer so I just bought the Mashup and it works! I was so happy that it worked, for some reason the trial wouldn't work but oh well, I love this mashup and I'm adding in my own touch. It's a very great map so good job to the team who worked on this.
Ran into something funny today. Ran across a Zombie in full Gold armor on the Greek Mythology world save. That seems pretty rare.
It's actually fairly common. Whenever a mob wears armor, it has a high chance of it being leather, then gold, chain, iron and diamond. But I've yet to see a diamond zombie
Are you making it where their is file share bc I have and lids of people I know want to posts their worlds in for people to play but they don't have the option. Plz make this for us

Pardon my ignorance, but where does a person easily find the ACTUAL title and EXACT release date of the latest MC 360 update?
I was under the impression that there was a TU on July 3rd, yet I have not been prompted to d/l any MC update since maybe March 2015...
