I hear you. I think I could swing the upgrade, but I'm not sure I want to. Aside from the larger world, the discussion posts don't mention any great improvements in mc on the ONE. I would have thought the spawn limits would be higher or something, but apparently no. If anyone out there knows something different, please set me straight. I would like to be an informed consumer.
Nope, next update, will give alex skin for free, for ps users they will get the simpson skin pack. It will also add new achievements to bring it on par with xbox one version, and add some new c418 tunes. This just read from a recent tweet.
I like the black Alex skins the best (My sister can use those), I like how they chose to make some that way. And as far as skins and music goes, I imagine that they'll be porting them from the Xbox one.

until May 18th.

I see no door of which you speak, nor coarse dirt, and what hand? There's no hand visible there. Are we even talking about the same picture here?
And for goodness sake people, it's a custom superflat. What in god's name makes you think they would flatten that huge area in a snow biome just to make that crappy hut and tease a couple features. It's a custom superflat.
In the center of the hut is what appears to be a birch door. You have to squint really hard to make it out. I still see only one door, though.
I'm guessing the coarse dirt is the 4-6 blocks flanking the door.
As for the hand, you have to look at the picture behind the picture. The window that says "Share on Facebook" is overlaid on the actual game the snapshot is taken from. (It's like a picture of a girl holding a picture of herself holding the picture... or something.) The block is glowstone.
I wouldn't expect much in this next update:

There are several different versions of the Steve Skin (Tuxedo Steve, Prisoner Steve, etc), so I'm wondering if 4J will do the same thing with Alex.

We'll have to wait til Wednesday to find out but they do keep saying "Alex skins". Suggests more than one to me.

Does this mean that the PC Creative Mode-only music will play at any time? I found that distasteful on the One. ._.
I like "Biome Fest" and the like being exclusive to a certain game mode.
