I think that if they are planning on doing 1.8.2 update then not doing abother update till 1.2.3 then I think that enchanting and possibly breeding need to be brought forward, now if they were going to do a 1.9 update say two months after the 1.8 update then I can maybe say it be worth waiting for enchanting. However even with out enchanting the 1.8.2 update will be bringing some fun new stuff that you should easily not be bored for two months till the next update.

Okay not sure why your stuff is not working I am only having issues with one circuit and it was a rapid repeater circuit I had hooked up on a sand generator.
*Correction* after rebuilding and messing with the ticks on the repeaters It works just fine.
Yea, mine is actually worse now after the update. I had a piston door on an adventure map hooked up to a pulsar that rapid fires the door open and close, you have to time when you run through it. Now when the world starts it works for about 10 seconds, then stops. And to make it even more stupid, if i rebuild the same circuit on the world, it still wont work. So basically, if you have a pulsar running when the world starts, after it burns out, you cant fix it nor create anymore.
i really want them to do enchanting in this update and hope blazes also get moved to this update because then we might get potions!!!!!:)
Also i dont have time to set up a twitter so if anyone else wonders about blazes and potions plz could u ask!!
Well plz like if u cant wait for this update!i also love the idea of mods that would make the game epic!!! plz like so other ppl see
um, slower than sheet? minecraft for pc updates took the same amount of time dude! so hows it slow? do you know how massive of an update this is? the amount of time and money put into this? be lucky you are even getting this for free, because Microsoft wanted to charge for the updates! had the current developers of minecraft not talked Microsoft out of it, we would have to pay for updates, and the game may have been left behind due to the amount of money the game would have lost from minecrafters that would never pay for minecraft updates, so be patient!
I swear, Microsoft is slower than sheet.

It will very likely be 160msp. As for the number, we can only guess.
8 of them will be the survivors from L4D and L4D 2.
