Is that a new flower (sunflower) in the hotbar too?
Nah, I think that is a flower on the ground. The Skyrim pack has a very transparent hotbar towards the right side. It's 99% just a flower on the ground. Mainly because it's so small and hard to see.
Beacon & Redstone block in the inventory. I love when 4J does this.
Hate to break this to you, but that's not a Beacon or Redstone. The block in the number 1 slot in the hot bar is a diamond block, the block in the in the number 4 slot is a Glowstone block.
Here's a video on YouTube by EckoSoldier covering this. The video also mentions that the Skyrim MUP is finally coming to PS platforms.
All I can say about that is it's about time PS finally got a mash-up pack.

WIP 128x 64x, SEUS support, Mod support in the pipeline TEKKIT, FTB, the more support the more mods!

Oh, well that explains it. I didn't know PS didn't have any mash-up packs. False alarm fellas.
I may have been wrong with the last screenshot, but something tells me there is new stuff in this one
at first I didn't see the beacon... but my friend showed me where it was.. I am truly excited for this upcoming update
aside from all the hype of horses haha
i never really understood what light sensors were for. what was the whole point of them?

It is good if you have something setup that you want to have turned on or off during the day (or at a particular time of day).
Example: Street Lamps. Or, a signal light in your mineshaft that lets you know when it is daylight out if you are mining under ground.
This is much more flexible if it used in conjunction with Command Blocks (ie. reset the time of day at a certain time interval)... But we don't have confirmation of Command Blocks coming to the consoles as yet.

i really do like the street lamps idea. but im having a bit trouble seeings how it would work with redstone in the air connected to lamps. and how would the street lamps work if i wanted them in nighttime?

When I first saw that picture, the only thing I didn't see and figure out what it was was the beacon in the background. Man, it's been forever since 4J got my skin crawling (in a good way). I'm now so hyped and this was just the first pic! Booyahh, 4J. You guys are awesome! I wonder if they're gonna bring anything forward since they're going for 3 major updates in a single TU. You know, if we keep going, we might actually catch up with the PC version, since we're soon to be at 1.6.4, and the PC's at 1.8. something. This could be a major milestone for the consoles.

It involves the new Redsone Block, Daylight Sensor, a Piston, and Redstone Lamps.
There are other designs to. Just look up auto street lights.

2 basic ways to do it, either set the daylight sensor on top of an upside down sticky piston that push/pulls a redstone block in the middle of 4 redstone lamps, or use an invert-er via the daylight sensor attached to the top of a block with a redstone torch off one side, and then use that point to illuminate out to the surrounding redstone lamps.
There are other variations of these themes that are a bit more complex, but this gets the job done pretty simply for a street lamp.

In the Hot bar, from left to right: hay bail, light sensor, redstone block, hopper, (what appears to be) horse armor
And what I can see in the background: Hay Bails (again), horses, and a beacon (which I highlighted below):

I assume it's because somebody is slacking and not being able to commit to it.
Blazes, I want commands--I could do a lot to improve my maps with those, hoppers, and daylight sensors--but squawkers can't be choosers. o^o
Stay fluffy~
