They release bug fix updates fast! I wonder how that system will work on the Xbox One due to the better cloud servers? Theoretically they should be able to put out small bug fixes as they're needed instead of waiting to release full updates. I'm guessing Minecraft will also be the first game on Xbox One to add more achievements periodically (that I know of and within reason) that aren't tied to DLC.
Edit: I read a thread about the "ninja update" and someone asked if using an empty hand on an iron door and it making a sound was a new thing. WHY IS THAT STILL BEING IGNORED?! I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if that bug exists in the Xbox One version. I asked this before, why are so many bugs that have existed for over a year continuously ignored in **"bug fix updates"**?
Someone earlier mentioned a "bug" that they were waking embedded in a chest which was placed right next to their bed. Whether that's a bug or not, the obvious solution is to move either the bed or the chest by a single block. But no - they posted about it and apparently expect 4J to waste time "fixing" it for them.
hahahaha you got that right. though the chest glitch has been around for a long time its never bugged me, i just jump out. and i dont use iron doors so that one never bugged me either.

It's a problem with using an empty hand on any door. Wood, iron, or trap. The point is it's a bug that's existed for a very long time. They fixed other minor things like pressure plates, blazes, and enderman. Why not this one?

I have posted on here recently about xbox360 recent and upcoming updates and no one bothered to discuss what I posted because the subject keeps getting changed to xbox one, mostly by you. We're not going to have an extra 400 or 500 for xbox one so I will continue to post here about xbox360 and I hope others do too. I'll be happy when xbox one gets their own topic to post on.
The next big update should be TU17 then, and I think we all agree it will be the pretty scary update in October. We're getting a Halo mash-up pack and we just got Marvel skin packs, I'm wondering if we'll see anything else between now and the next big update. It is almost summer and there will be lots of kiddies out of school playing games, wanting more. I hope we'll start to see screenshots and plushies. I wonder what else they will add, following what they've done in the past we could get more than just what was in the pretty scary update, horses?

At the moment there really isn't a whole lot to discuss on 360, as quite a few seem fixated on the One. I do agree that discussing the One doesn't detract from discussing the 360, as it is basically the same system with minor differences. (refering to the game) Yes to me the bigger worlds is a minor difference. It doesn't matter how big the world gets, as long as it is feasible to work in/with.
I am sure the 360 will get more things, but for how long that is another story. As for between One release and next 360 update, that is a toss up. I would rather not even compare or hope for before the One comes out. More like I hope just flat out that an update will come out regardless of whether the One version is out or not.
Horses would be nice, as long as they include the hay bales; which is what I personally would be looking for... Maybe even hoppers, droppers, and fishing mechanics so we have a way to get certain items like lilly pads(extremely limited resource depending on seed), as well automate certain projects.
I do have to agree some people to appear to be quick to judge others, but that is common place in the world of words. Long as it is kept within reason I for one don't mind some being that way. Each to their own. Jumping to conclusions is not my thing, and another reason my posts are somewhat abstract I guess...
I'll just be glad when they do have certain things in game, whether it makes to 360 or not. If it only goes to One then oh well, at least someone can play around with them.

I don't think people are spiteful or jealous. I think it's a collection of other things that people are thinking. It seems to me that while Xbox One is a great system, it has just come out and has a small selection of games at the moment. A lot of people are reluctant to immediately switch over for a single game considering the cost of it at the moment. I'm sure a lot of people will make the jump as the game library grows. I'm sure I will... but for now it's still basically the same game. And I agree talking about one doesn't prevent others from discussing the other. That would be silly.
Another silly thing it the personal attacks, and just as silly are the reactions to these. I mean come on... You're on the internet. Don't put food out for the trolls and don't get annoyed when the trolls gobble it up. If it's that much of problem ignore and move on. Please allow the discussion to stay on track.
(This is not a personal attack against anyone... Just a common sense statement about internet interactions.)

I think the 360 still has a bit of life in it and Minecraft is basically the same game on both consoles. There are a lot of people that are going to continue to play on 360 for a good while to come. Which makes the game on 360 still a good portion of the market even after release. I think 4J and Mojang recognize this and will very likely try to take advantage of the 360's market for a while. It's only good business. So I really think that 360 will get future updates for a long while. Sure eventually they'll stop, but so what... So will minecraft. Stating it over and over, then discussing it to death is fruitless. I think people should stop worrying and just enjoy the game. In the end a lot people here will likely jump over to xbone at the right time for them. For me it not about Minecraft, just the library of games and price tag.

You're not going to be banned for your opinion. That's just silly. Right now with a lot of news on how the console editions are going to be moving forward, people are going to talk. We put up Xbox One edition news before in this thread. Until we are able to split the forums, there's going to be some head butting. We have more information today then we did yesterday and it's great news for everyone, and the One does concern the 360 players with world transfers, and now the $5 upgrade

I feel conflicted. I really want the Halo music and the skin pack, but the texture pack would most likely be terrible in survival, like the Mass Effect one.

I never intended to steer the conversation away from the 360 version like this. I know I have my own thread but I wanted a chance to get official news instead of just speculating.
I say just leave it as is. The platforms will be similar enough for the time being. No point in having even more subforums. It is already broken up enough for xbox, why add even more subforums.
