haha i like the Mega Shark better. but i'd be glad with either. im hoping there will be a mega and mini shark skin for the players along with the NPC's like the Truffle man, Shaman, steampunker, pirate, etc. the enderdragon could look like the Wyverns. and there are so many options for the Skeletons and Zombies. the spiders could be from the underground spider biomes and the jungle spiders in hardmode. the options are endless. when they make a terraria mash up pack. Blazes could be the Wraiths or that other ghost you get after i think it was beating Plantera (which i haven't done yet.) creepers or ghast could be the Meteorite heads. the potions could look like all the potions in terraria. the anvil could be an orichalcum anvil (pink-ish purple anvil) maby the end could be "Corrupted" or "Hallowed" the mushroom Biomes will look awesome with the Blue. the red mushrooms could be orange and the brown could be the Glowing blue mushrooms (without the glowing part of course). i could go on all day with all the textures.

Discussion about those editions already exists and the parameters of that discussion won't change regardless of dates etc.
NOT rumours. 4J were clear when they took on vita and the rest - vita is a port of console edition and aims for feature parity with the other four they are in charge of. The only time I've heard vita "rumoured" to be PE is when you said it earlier.
These big issues seem to be pretty easy to solve, I just don't believe anyone is thinking about it because, as you said, you don't see a reason to.
Reasons to include: being prepared for something you 100% know is coming; providing areas for discussion which is already happening; the current spray of forums is a mess and hard to navigate.
I'm not sure I agree, because the people who are affected and would be interested in contributing to it - the users of the console areas of the forums - are unlikely to notice what's going on in there.
Discussion about the console section will get more attention in the console section.
I haven't been a member on here long so all this stuff you said isn't clear to me whether you think xbox one comments should be posted here or not. I thought I recalled reading something in the rules about this:

I understand everybody gets off topic a little bit here but complaints posted in more than one thread that's not about xbox360 in order to get 4J's attention IMO should not go here.
I'd sooner see a full 3D version of Terraria than a mash-up. Or a total combined mod, basically Terraria with Redstone mechanics and pistons. Terrarias NPC system is great and the sheer breadth of materials and equipment - rocket boots!
yeah them rocket boots were awesome. i used those until until i turned them into the lightning boots now i run fast and fly high, and i also got the Jungle Wings, and i use to use the 3 ballons once you crafted them to be combined. i was all about getting to the opposite side of the map with a couple of jumps. now i use an Obsidian Horseshoe, jungle wings (Leaf Wings),Hard Lava Waders, Hasty Lightning Boots, And the Power Gloves. but i use i different set up when fighting them hardmode bosses
one can only hope unfortunately. but hey i say we got a better chance than you think we do of getting it

I'm not only talking about a discussion section. I'm talking about creations, seeds, multiplayer, updates, ect. No need to create an empty forum when all there is is topics that will basically be "when will it be released".

Adding MCXONE sections is something we will be looking at when we have a better idea what Minecraft: Xbox One Edition looks like.
Considering that there are still questions as to whether there will be any MCX360 and MCXONE cross-over or if the Xbox One version is completely different to the 360 version with absolutely no compatibility, we will not be taking any structural action to the forum until we have a better sense of how the new version will operate.
For now, Xbox ONE threads are welcome to exist in the current MCX360 sections.

What happened in here? I don't understand how hard it is to not pay attention to something that comes across this thread. We're all looking forward to 360 updates as well as One updates. It's not hard to read posts as they come in and figure out if they are important to you or not.

Ok well thanks for clearing that up, I have referred back to the rules again and if I see something that I think breaks the rules I will follow the instructions in the rules, which I'm sure I will have to refer to again to make sure I'm doing it right. I'm new here and I appreciate the patience shown to me. I guess since I'm new I didn't know there were so many people posting complaints about console versions coming out in threads intended for other topics just to get 4J's attention and thought they shouldn't be doing so. Anyways, thanks again.
What happened in here? I don't understand how hard it is to not pay attention to something that comes across this thread. We're all looking forward to 360 updates as well as One updates. It's not hard to read posts as they come in and figure out if they are important to you or not.
We've all searched things on the internet and we all can understand the frustration when searching to keep coming across information that is useless, to have to take time away from other things to read through all of it to find what you're looking for. I read this thread to find out what's new for the xbox 360 and it's not hard, it just takes time away reading all of it when you're looking for information on topic.
Which lends more credence that they're working on the PS4 and Xbox One versions since they want to keep them all on the same update. They're likely not wanting to do another content update until the new versions are out so they can update them all at the same time.
Another bug fix update? How many people want to bet the double door sound bug will be ignored again? Seriously though, there are bugs that have been around for over a year that have never been touched.

agreed - we already have the MEmup. How different can this one be? They should have made the candy tex a MUP, at least thatwoudl have been out-of-the-box thinking.
It will end up having another texture pack that only makes sense in creative so I would never use it anyway. I would like to have the music though.
I am curious why they ignore pretty much every bug that has to do with sound or visual effects. There are so many that are either broken of missing. It took them almost two years to add the sound for pressure plates!
