Thank goodness. I was down to about a dozen villagers. And my last blacksmith went missing overnight yesterday, which was not good, he had trades I needed! I did get a couple of villagers to spawn a baby, but that's one since TU14.

I had some hope the bug patch might have dropped last night, alas. My pain threshhold has been reached and spirit crushed finally by the inventory bug and mining bug.
LOL-I played a little around 3am est US(not there then), then signed back in around 6:30am and it was there. You didn't miss it by much considering the time you posted. I now have chickens running around, that's a good thing.

inventory bug? what bug is that? (the name being quite self explanatory, but i mean what happens with it)
It was causing the first item on the hot bar to be moved up into the inventory as soon as you pressed Y automatically. Frustrating. One work around was to have a full inventory but that in itself was also frustrating.

ahh yes that bug im glad thats gone but this whole time i thought that i had kept clicking Y twice

The way I got around this problem was I would keep the first slot empty, if I picked up something eventually it would go to my inventory but it was of little importance so it didn't matter. If we was getting the block glitch we would just stand back a little bit unless we were mining directly above or below but that didn't happen often. The animals and villagers really didn't give us too much trouble, I had one cow escape a fence. One day I found my butcher in my cow pen and he had slaughtered one of my cows, the leather and raw beef was floating right next to him, didn't know that could happen. We adapt, we weren't going to wait for the bug fix to play the update.
If it wasn't for the update download screen I wouldn't even know I was running TU15..... doesn't show in the What's New section of the How To Play. It still says TU14.

thats because TU15 added nothing new it was just to fix all of TU14's problems. think of it as TU14.2

right thats actually what i did when i started i just kept opening and closing the inventory to make sure the problem was fixed. though i have a question, I have a world (which is really the only survival world i play on) that i made back in TU8 meaning i have no carrots or potatoes. is there a way to obtain these (of course without going in creative)? mainly because if its true that pigs now only follow carrots then im out of luck. i heard that zombies and skeletons can drop potatoes but im not sure about carrots.

Zombies drop both as rare drops. Tested by me. I went through about 30-40 zombies and got one potato and one carrot.

though im not liking those odds i guess its the only way i can get some so i have about a 5% chance to get a rare drop and a 2.5% chance to get the carrot specifically.

6 updates later, what all are you missing? I think it's a lot. We make a new map every time an update comes out but I can't bring myself to delete the old maps. One I carved a home out of the top of a mountain, an underwater home, a swamp house, a farm cottage. Another I have a giant farm house, another we started a city with the city texture pack. I think I will have to clean up a bit. You must have something magnificent in that map. Each time we create one we make better things in it than previous maps but I can understand not wanting to start all over considering the amount of time you must have invested.

Do you have bonus chest on? That MIGHT give you carrots or potatoes. And interesting way to make the bonus chest respawn is to get another person (split screen or multiplayer) to play with you, and the bonus chest should respawn. It worked for me.
Yes, but all you need is one of each and you are off to the races. I now have fields and fields of carrots and potatoes all from one of each!
right and since my farm is in my house about 3 floors down on the side of a mountain lit up like the sun with unnecessary heavy defense im sure no mobs could destroy my crops like those villagers or other mobs always do.

yeah that world does have allot and surprisingly im not missing much all im missing really is jungles, temples, and i think thats it. But thanks to my friend, (you guys know him by Tamorr) healer, he taught me a trick so i could have jungle wood (there is only 1 block of jungle wood) in my world i use it for cocoa beans. i was gonna make more but the update for TU14 came the day after and the trick was destroyed. in a way the trick was kinda like reprogramming any wooden block to be another. with just iron, sticky pistons, and redstone. (you could also "reprogram" wool and stone)

no i never used bonus chest before. i always saw it as cheating. but thats just how i see it. i know mostly everyone else sees it as legit.

I sympathize with you. My gardens have unnecessary defense as well. I have piston traps, and dispensers that fire arrows, and a sheep still manages to get through and step on my crops.
A solution to this problem is to make and indoor garden, like inside your house.
