Somebody please get on the twitter "horn" and tell 4J that we want daylight sensors and comparators added to the TU15 bug fix. I would but I don't get on twitter.
I believe it was the 26th of February when they announced it would be a few more weeks so I calculated it would go to certification March 19 and if it took a week in certification it would then be released on the 26th. Of course I'm hoping it will be sooner and I believe it's very possible.
I've only ever played xbox minecraft, don't play online but do play multiplayer, I'm wondering how this latest screenshot addition to the update (invisible, etc.) will affect how we play, anyone?
I dont think the time for the piston to extend will change... what that tells me is the time from when the piston receives a signal to the time it reacts is doubled. You probably wont even notice a difference.
This seems like an attempt to fix some of the wonkiness with pistons.
Ughh. My contraptions are all broken with the change in the piston timing.

Yabba Dabba Doo! New building blocks, new decorations, new farming options, Villagers Interactions at long long last! Gee, I'm almost forgetting to be sad over the loss of the Adventure Mode feature, I guess that one was just a rumor... All in all I'm quite happy with the update, I had been waiting for stone fences for ages ... anyway what the heck am I wasting time here when there is so much new stuff to explore... right after I done my dishes and wash my floors (down side to having a great update on a chores day ) Cheers y'all!
4JSteve commented that the villagers don't have jobs right now so they can "trade everything"... I'm not following. All villagers have the same trade list? Was that how it came out on the PC? I'm confused. Not to worry though...... I will test this out later today.... unless someone already has.
I love this update, woke up at 7:00 and just got off. I just can't figure out how to dye leather armor or how to turn villagers back into normal villagers after being turned into a zombie.
The pig riding is fun but kinda iffy. You have to do it just right or the pig turns in circles and goes all over the place
So far out of what I have checked out, the only thing that bugs me is sideways placement. I know it works this way or similar on the pc, but would be nice if the placement was based on what facing the object you are pointing at is rather than having to pillar up to place a log the original way.
Just my thoughts on that part.
Love the placement of the rest so far... I haven't run into too many bugs thankfully; at least not ones that would stop me from playing. Gotta check quite a few things on my older worlds and experiment with my redstone stuffs I have in my old worlds to see what still works, due to the piston change...
Glad to see many things to do and check out, including what they added to the tutorial world, even if only the new mechanics & stuff. Good work to 4J.

Baby zombie villagers ?? Do we have baby zombies too in this update ?
I haven't been able spawn any baby zombies at all.. It's likely they weren't added. But I was playing around with zombies and villagers, it seems I spawned a few baby villagers, and they were turned into baby zombie villagers. The cool thing about them is that they have baby zombie sounds.

This is a bug.. Which is odd, because I haven't seen villagers with 'misplaced' trades.. Farmers trading armor and such. I haven't experienced it tho.. All the trades I've seen were appropriate for their profession, but I only played with trading for 20 or 30 minutes then just played survival.. It's likely I just missed the bugged villagers. No clue what's going on here.. Hopefully when I get a few villagers to my base this doesn't happen.
So did I understand right, you can't get potatoes and carrots from zombies? And can you get them from villages? My mind someone said you can get potatoes and carrots from the starting chest, which is optionally selected when making the world?
According to Known Bugs thread.. Zombies not dropping carrots and potatoes as rare drops was noted as a bug. We'll see.. It seems like they intended for them to drop from zombies as rare drops.
They added items that can appear in bonus chests.. I spawned a new world and found melon seeds and 4 jungle saplings in the bonus chest. So there is new stuff. I think we'll have to go through a few bonus chests to see what is added.
Love the update. I just wish the Chiseled Quartz was not that air duct looking block that used to be gray wool. In all the other packs Chiseled Quartz looks amazing and I wish I could use it on the city pack. I wish they would have used the sponge for the air duct texture.

Hit the zombie villager with a splash potion of weakness and then feed it a golden apple.
dont forget that it takes time to be cured so you also must keep it alive while it Reverts. it can still be burned from the sun or hurt from other hostile mobs, cacti, drowning, or lava

just get the dye and press X when in the inventory menu whilst wearing it
you don't have to be wearing the armor. if you pick up the dye in the inventory screen and just hover it over the piece of armor it will say to push X at the bottom to dye it.

Yes, Iron Golems started spawning with TU12. I think it takes 10 villagers to spawn a golem, but I'm not positive on that one. I accidentally created an infinite villager breeding situation on my survival map in one of the villages and by the time I got it under control I had about 6 iron golems.
the different colored leather armor sounds cool but seriously whats the point of having that when its one of the weakest armor in the game. i mean its really useless unless your playing on peaceful. why not of allowed us to die diamond armor? (BTW has anyone else taken fall damage from sprint jumping 1 block down because its happened to me several times)

Yeah this update has some bugs/glitches I've noticed. I've taken damage from small jumps and etc. Animals float on top the cobblestone walls and sometimes get out. Mining is very annoying as the blocks your mining pop back once your done a few seconds later and the pick still takes "damage from mining but you never get the block until the 5th to 8th time you tried mining it. I love this update though.

Villagers now have a random profession so no need to breed them again.
You can now move in minecarts by pushing forward on the stick...... not very fast but it follows exactly how the PC works!!!!!
That's all I've found in the short time I got on but let's discover other cool things.........
Awesome, I didn't think to look at minecarts...
BUT... I can confirm that you can turn Zombie Villagers back into villagers! woot.
Also you can place redstone on upside down half slabs now..
