I don't know.... I think curing infected villagers will be in this update. Zombie villagers were added in 1.4.2 and being able to cure them was added at the same time. Like you said Cire360, I think there are more things added than listed...
Plus, let's not forget that the enchanted golden apple was added so I also think that the recipe for the golden apple was changed to ingots instead of nuggets but I don't see that in the change log. The only recipe I see changed is the book..... I can't wait.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully curing villagers is in the update. That will hopefully make getting new villagers in ghost towns easier. Right now carting them in by minecart is extremely annoying.
No, villagers won't just spawn, think of it like this, you have a village with 1 villager, lots of houses with doors, are any villagers spawning? Or no villagers before you got one back, did any more spawn? I am pretty sure you're going to need two, I asked my b/f to be sure and when he said it like that it made sense.
I tried to spawn villagers once, I found online someone who said it could be done, said they have a brother that works for microsoft. So I built the monstrous house with everything exactly how they said and it never worked. I did read that they can be moved by rail and minecart so maybe if you have another village with villagers this could be an option for you.
Zombie villagers being added, so even on a map with no villagers at all, you can cure a pair of spawned zombie villagers to get them breeding again.
i think i have a better chance of getting the zombie villagers but thanks. and thats even if they decided to add the cure which if i remember right was first a potion of weakness, then once something has been done give it a golden apple.

Also currently there is a glitch cheat for blocks of iron, gold, and diamond. Does anyone know if that will get fixed in this update?
you know how you can only place half slabs half way down unless your under the block your placing it on. (example you wanted to make a counter that's off the ground with half slabs, but now you have to break the floor and go down one block so you could place a half slab at the top) i think this is an easier way of saying it, you know how if you click on the bottom half in PC version with a half slab or stair its a normal slab or stair and that if you click on the top part of a block the half slab and stairs will be upside down. well in the xbox version no matter what we do it will always be right side up unless we are under the block we are placing it on.

Oh yeah, somebody said if they're adding zombie villagers then they would spawn after downloading the update, I must have missed that. And no, I've never played the PC version so I would probably appear to be a noob to most of you. One of the children knew about the game coming out for xbox and wanted it. That was the first I had heard of this game, now the whole family plays together. I've considered playing PC, just haven't made the jump yet.
It means that we used to have to crawl underneath a block to place an upside down half slab ( the ones that are at the top half of a block). Now you should be able to place upside down stuff by having the cursor point to the top half of a block and place normally by pointing at the bottom half of the block.
It takes a little time to get used to but trust me this is a GREAT improvement over the current placement.
In respects to spawning villagers, you can't. If you only have one the only way to get another is to cure an infected zombie villager but I don't think that is coming in this update, I think that happens in 1.4 though I can't recall and am too lazy to look it up.
Once villagers are inside a village they shouldn't wander outside of 32 blocks from the center of the village, unless there is a bug with villages in the 360. I've never had them wander too far, so am a bit reluctant to believe such stories, however there is a chance that they might fall or become unattached from the village and thus begin wandering.
In respects to the duplication glitch, I don't know, there will always be ways to glitch things, be it changing the blocks meta data, ect. The best course here is to play with people who you know are honorable and won't cheat.

Well since we only play xbox version offline we use it so we can build and get things quicker, but one of the children would rather have us in a situation where we needed to trade to get those things. Also I guess it would make a map last a lot longer, we'll get bored with one and start another. Of course if there's a new texture pack or mash-up pack that's always a reason to start a new one.
Sort of surprised to not see wither skeletons listed, but I could see that being held until they figure out how to add the wither.
My guess is they won't add the wither until there can be some sort of anti-griefing mechanism put in place. My suggestion would to be just add wither creation / activation / damage to the rights assigned to the TNT check box.

I believe it was the 26th of February when they announced it would be a few more weeks so I calculated it would go to certification March 19 and if it took a week in certification it would then be released on the 26th. Of course I'm hoping it will be sooner and I believe it's very possible.

Maybe also meaning able to place certain objects on those upside down ones. That is left of for debate till release, unless someone can confirm that. As right now you can not place something like a bed on them.
As far as villagers work, I know you might have already mentioned... You do need at least 2 villagers to have them the possibility of breeding. Kind of like it takes two to tango.
With the new update though the zombie villagers being able to be cured will help repopulate villages for those that do not have any villagers.

Mainly pc though, although unsure if was an older or newer video I saw that in. Regardless zombie villagers can be converted to regular villagers by some means.

I am glad to see a large quantity of those features, changes, and fixes. Like the boat change; breaking lily pads, now that is good measure.
Since I already knew about most the blocks due to the prior pics I just know I am going to have a hay day with all them plus easy upside down placement. hmm.. second thought that might take a bit to get use to, since I just finally got use to placing dirt before placing anything upside down when needed. lol
Another thing I really like is saddles dropping and now we can ride pigs more effectively. To me I would rather ride the pigs more than horses... More entertaining.
I can only hope that they don't change how minecarts work too much, as the pc has in the recent snapshot.(which I can only hope mojang fixes a few of the chaotic behaviors it has) At least now I will be able to enjoy TU14 when it comes about, since there are lots of things I have been long awaiting. The only thing not fond of is the book recipe change, but I'll get use to it.

You can see how unleashing a wither on someone else's world and logging out may be construed as some pretty heinous greifing. How do you combat someone doing that? Best thing I can come up with is making it a host option.

I would be seriously disappointed if the wither, when it comes, was dumbed down in any way.. It really needs to be kept as a challenge.
Wither creation toggled in host options might be a good route to go.. But given the actual rarity of wither skeleton skulls, I don't think this would be huge problem.. They are tough to get. I think this is something people would keep in an ender chest if playing multiplayer. So a griefer would have to actually invest a good deal of time to gather the skulls, meaning enchants, resources.. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but it's not as likely as just killing creepers and using tnt.
I am looking forward to the update. Been building bookshelves as much as possible before the book recipe changes.
My only disappointment is not increasing the villager cap. Hoping zombie villagers will make it easier to repopulate those towns that have turned to ghost towns.
I have one world, What I have played a long time. I quess I started it in last year's Summer, and I am bit of bored, because I have not been able to update to TU 12 or higher (Technical problems, not going to explain). At least the map size is 856x856 (might not be the correct size but that size it is I think), not like in Minecraft: Pocket Edition, where the world is 256x256. That map is so small, only good in multiplayer servers. Xbox is getting the more technical styff, and MC:PE is soon getting all 1.7 (Not sure about mega taiga) biomes from PC, and it will be infinite. Xbox would be awesome with some of the new biomes. I am glad, if I am possible to download TU 14, just might've found a way to do it without the one error :/ As I am making an adventure map/minigame world, I am glad we get anvils, tripwire hooks (don't we?) and loada of good stuff, like trading. Sorry if I went too much off the topic
Wow, 1 map for almost a whole year with no TU12 or higher. Sounds like our friend, he hasn't updated yet either, he got bored a long time ago. I would suggest looking up how you could make it so you could download updates, this information might be found on the internet with determination to find the answer. Definitely a multiplayer map keeps it interesting but I also like to play by myself making awesome builds and I also like starting off alone but making a map to add the other players later. I have so many maps sadly I'm going to have to delete a few. For the lists of the things in the updates you can look in the minecraft wiki recent and upcoming updates or in here, minecraft forum, the link that takes you to this forum there is one that lists the things in the update above or below the link for this one.
Hmmm.....I am looking forward to the update too, but my phone doesn't allow high speed data so the updating can be tricky.....I think it might work if I make a Wi-fi with my phone

its the thing that everyone hates just because we are all too lazy. we now have to use leather in crafting recipes which reminds me i have a sugarcane farm that fills the whole top right of the map. i better get farming before its too late.

Just need to use leather for every book. Not drastic, but a lot of extra work when trying to build a library.
