TU14 second week of April (no way they make March - maybe first week in April).
TU15 bug fix last week in June (provided they don't need an emergency bug fix like they have the past couple of releases).
TU16 October (taking us to 1.5 and picking up the items from 1.4 that are still missing).
TU17 bug fix last week in December (again ignoring emergency bug fix issues) Horses, applicable parts of 1.6.
TU18 April/May - parts of 1.7.2 - also last content update for MCXBLA360. I suspect they will bring in Stained Glass, some of the new fish mobs, they will not do the biome shift, 360 maps are too small to support it.
Most of you are forgetting that 4J's focus has now shifted to next-gen. They will continue to support 360 fully through 1.5 and will grab the applicable (non-server/command based parts of 1.6 and 1.7).

I like your timeline. Seems likely to me. TU14 is pretty big so cert testing might be about the length for TU12... a month.
and since we are all guessing when it comes out. yesterday i was talking about it on the xbox. someone said it was going in cert testing in a couple of weeks so lets just say 2 after 2 weeks of cert testing it should be good. once done we may have to wait a couple more week(s) so i'd say we got about 6-10 weeks before the update comes

Unless there is a problem during cert testing, it always comes out right after cert testing is done. There is no two week waiting period after that.
Exactly none of those tweets say anything even remotely related to "we will go on updating MC360 as long as Mojang keeps updating Minecraft." All they do say is we will keep updating MC360 after the release of the next-gen versions. They never say "for a long time to come," or anything related to duration. You're use of them is unfounded. So, basically, they have nothing to do with what I stated.
There will come a point when 4J quits updating MC360/PS3 and focuses solely on the PS4 and xBone. That is a simple business reality that you cannot get around. The 1.7.2 update ("the update that change the world") is the most likely place to stop because it significantly expanded the biome system, introducing a bunch of new variation. MC360 worlds really are too small to take advantage of that variation, so introducing it makes no sense. That's why I said "parts of 1.7.2."
someone said it was going in cert testing in a couple of weeks
Actually the specific tweet was "a few weeks" which, presuming they're using proper English means at least three weeks. With cert likely taking 10 business days, and presuming "a few" does mean three, the earliest we'll see it is... wait for it... First week of April....

Who cares about the update that "changed the world" though. They can continue updating the Xbox360 for as long as they want. They don't have to stop at a update that we won't be able to get that the PC has, they are different versions anyways so not everything in PC has to be implemented to Xbox360. Just skip that update and continue with ones they can do.

is there not? i dont remember

They will of course update for as long as they want, but I highly doubt it will be for much longer than the other poster suggested. The xbox360 will become obsolete so they are not going to continue to update an old system.
Welll see, I still stand by that it will be finished by the end of this week or early next week, and that cert testing will take no more then 3 to 4 days. I strongly belive that both companies will try and push the cert test envelope to beat the other So it will goto cert no later then March 12, with a 3 to 4 day cert test max. Thus I say the update rolls out on Tuesday march 18th.
One question that just popped into my head is will the Achievements for MCXB360 get updated? I noticed that the PS3 version has the following trophies which are not in the MCXB360 version:
Sniper Duel: Kill a Skeleton with an arrow from more than 50 meters.
Diamonds: Acquire Diamonds with your iron tools.
Return to Sender: Destroy a Ghast with a fireball.
Into Fire: Relieve a Blaze of it's rod.
The End?: Enter an End Portal.
The End: Kill the Ender Dragon.
Enchanter: Construct an Enchantment Table.
So, I'm just curious as to how 4J is going to add these to the XB360 version, if at all ( I bought MC for XB360 in 2012, which is why I'm asking this question. I'm not trying to start an argument or a flame war or anything. I'm just asking an honest question).

WIP 128x 64x, SEUS support, Mod support in the pipeline TEKKIT, FTB, the more support the more mods!

Probably not. Mcx360 is already at the max achievement points allowed for an arcade title.
The xboxOne version will probably have the new achievements though because the restrictions there are structured different and the limits are much higher.

Doesn't mean that they can't increase the Achievement limit on Arcade games on the 360. Just saying that it's something they could do.

Guess you would have to talk to microsoft instead of 4j. 4j doesn't control the limits.
Plus, I don't really get what achievements add to the game anyway. They mean nothing to the game play, just some annoying message that pops up early on.

no unfourtunatly we have hit the maximum limit of achievements for minecraft. which i think is a lie as ive had other arcade games that has about 43 acheivements and most of them are 20G or so

In the majority of games Achievements can add a great deal of fun and extended hours playing a game, personally 'Mile High Club' etc have offered hours extra fun in other titles. (Cod4 for anyone wondering)
MC has a couple of achievements which I did at one time consider a challenge, the 500m on a railcart took a little time to mine/collect the materials when I was new to the game.
Back on point, even though you do not see the addition they bring to the game, there are many players that pride themselves on achievements and 100 percenting games they own as a symbol of total completion of a game, so the addition of these ensures a wider range of players are catered to.
Ok. I guess that appeals to some. Usually I just play the game. Not really worried about what achievement pops up.
Anyway, like I said, you have to bring it up with microsoft instead.
There is no maximum achievements on a game, DLC can add additional achievements to a game, however we are not receiving DLC, we are getting a TITLE UPDATE, and TU's can not add additional achievements to a game.

When Battlefield 3 came out, they used to update the game via add ons which added achievements. All 4J would need to do is do the same, it'd probably cost to do so but it's be great to have more achievements.

Again that is DLC not a title update, there is a difference, title updates do not cost, and DLC does.
